The check-in experience was terrible and slow. I specifically asked to be placed somewhere where noise would not be an issue, and ended up being harrassed by hotel staff twice during the evening for moderate at best noise. Additionally, bell hops/valet were very forceful of telling to my wife to move our vehicle when we didnt use their service.I would like a follow up with Senior Management at your earliest convenience.

Be aware! You have to pay $45 ish dollars for valet parking. This was not disclosed when you booked the hotel on Expedia. It is a hidden fee that you find out only when you arrive. There is off property parking at a parking garage for 22 ish dollars - I found this out afterwards. The property is beautiful, almost resort like. I enjoyed the speakeasy within the hotel. Bed was comfortable. Everything appeared clean. I cannot say that I would return. $45 for valet parking plus tip is outlandish for the Midwest. This is not Los Angeles or Manhattan - this is Kentucky. The price should reflect that.

Building was beautiful, rooms were nice but it’s very noisy. Guests are there to party and traffic is very loud. You can hear music playing from cars on the street on the 9th floor. Parking is also very odd. Valet is slow and expensive at $45 a day. It takes 20 mins or more to get your car. Self park is on the other side of the building, costs $22 a day, and if you’re arriving late or leaving early entrance to the building is locked. So, you have to walk around the block. Not the safest thing alone late at night and very inconvenient with weather. It makes you feel locked in to the location. Didn’t enjoy the set up and would only return to visit one of the bars. Felt like a wannabe Vegas with a bunch of horse pictures.

Pool and hot tub closed.
The place is beautiful, Unfortunately we booked this for the roof top pool and hot tub. It was our first couple getaway and we we're se excited for our night swim and hot tub relaxation. NEITHER OF THEM WORKED OUR ENTIRE STAY. I asked and they said sorry. This place is too expensive for nonchalant attitudes. The pool opened the morning we left. The hottub never opened. We would have booked else where if we had know. Also shower has low water pressure and had what i think was dried shampoo clumps on the shower wall.
