We enjoyed the infrastructure of the facility. Very unique and easy to navigate. Property was very clean and well maintained. Staff was attentive and passionate. Restaurants seemed to be a bit understaffed at time. Our only denotation would be quality of food. It was okay, but nothing special at all. Great location, very close to the marina. Would certainly recommend Sandos Finesterra to friends with children. But for a couple who would like a more luxurious stay, there are better options

We went for a 5 night stay. They did upgrade us to a 2 bedroom suite which was great, because we had our kids with us. They upgraded us I believe because they wanted to convince us to buy a timeshare. We did not. The accommodations were nice, but not luxurious. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. It’s a very spread out hotel. You have to go to the top seventh floor with a beautiful view to Reach some of the accommodations. We didn’t like that you couldn’t swim in the beach I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal, but it would have been nice. Instead of having to walk to beaches. Good thing is it’s close to the marina and lots of shopping. Overall it was a really nice stay.

Everything about this resort shouts “relaxation and fun” . Across the street is the marina; everything needed to make it into a relaxing vacation is right here. Lots of events throughout the day, amazing food options, spectacular views, super friendly and polite staff. They had me at checkin with their waterproof wristband key! The cupcake cafe is their best and is the usual hotspot at most time of the day; swim up bar - ooo la la ! We were also given the best suite ever i feel … cud watch the sunrise right from the bed and the nook / walkup to our suite was private . Had the ocean view which brought me unbound mental peace. Very near the beach itself. Cant stop thinking about lazing in the hammock on the beach. No cares about not swimmable beach at all. All events were fun and for all age groups also very well organized. Can go on and on but leaving some stuff for surprise to others 😊

The location is amazing and most of the staff is great (we had one exception). But if you have kids between the ages of 15-17 I would not recommend it at all. The only heated pools are the adults only or the kids pool. The main pool is freezing cold and nobody wants to get in, even though this is where most of the fun for teenagers can happen since there’s a volleyball net and it is fairly big. We will most likely not come back.

Just got home traveling with our family of seven. We absolutely loved our stay at Sandos Finnesterra. Our kids range in ages from 14 and 19-26. We received nothing but positive feedback from all. Everyone seems very content with the amenities, food choices, and activities. We give a special shout out to Carmen and Yuki on the activities squad who made sure everyone in our group had a good time. The water aerobics was definitely one of the highlights of our pool time. The hotel itself is absolutely breathtaking, from the spectacular views to the natural beauty everywhere. This is easily one of the nicer hotels we have stayed at. I think all our kids were overwhelmed with all of it. Cabo itself is easily accessible right outside the hotel. Bring comfortable footwear as you will be walking, but not one complaint from our crew. There is so much going on all around, with the marina right across the street, it made walking fun. Yes you will be “harassed” by street peddlers and people selling activities, we actually had fun with it and just told them no gracias and kept it moving. We always felt completely safe and also had a great dinner at Outpost, which is a 9 min walk from the hotel grounds. We really do not have any complaints with our experience at SF, which is a very tall order with young adults. We highly recommend staying here.

Although it is aging...Brick area around pool is deteriating. I love the area, Entertainment people, location. I ended up with a room 1311. Sink rusted, toilet spit out water everytime you flushed up in air & on floor. I was told having a VIP I should have had a different type room.

one of the early resort establishments in Cabo, some rooms are dated but they are large and clean, location is excellent, Marina is across the street, staff are friendly and helpful, pools are great, family pool is heated, food choices and quality are 8 out of 10, will stay there again and recommending to family travel with young kids.
