We booked 4 rooms in total and each room was placed in 4 different names due to different flight times. The check-in person, Victor, was very very helpful however, the process and their protocols are very difficult with check in and many guests had the same experience as well. The transportation from the airport to the resort and the transportation from the resort to the airport was supposed to be covered however, they have messed up many times and did not see us on the reservation and I had to pay for the private transportation instead. The hotel was filthy, the phone was not working. Requesting towels and other things was difficult because the main communication which is the phone is unavailable and can only be requested through the app which did not work most of the time.

Food was excellent , hospitality was excellent specially Blanca our server from the buffet. Room needs a little more maintenance, like the front door closer was sticking and the toilet seat was loose but I did see a maintenance guy making his rounds in the hotel. But overall it was a great stay.

The property was very nice, clean and the staff was excellent. The food was also very good. We had a rough start with ants in our garden suite when we arrived but they were able to accommodate us in another room fairly quickly.

The air in my room was not working. The maintenance guy couldn’t fix it. He said because the room is as bigger it doesn’t get too cool. And the hot tub on the balcony wasn’t working.

Look no further! This is your place to stay! The friendliest and helpful staff. The hotel and grounds were so clean. Variety of restaurants to choose from on the grounds and the food was absolutely delicious. Daily activities to do if you choose to. There is another attached hotel that you can walk to and they had the Riu pool parties and a night club, which's was perfect for our teenagers. If you want to do some activities outside of the hotel, you need to go and see Claudia. She has a stand by the pool. She’s the BEST and will take care of you, like she took care of us. This was my first time and I would definitely go back. Felt very safe. Would highly recommend this beautiful palace with a gorgeous view.

Love RIU PALACE and all their properties. I went with my 15 year old twins. There was always something for all three of us to do. Kids enjoyed all the activities. The activities staff were awesome and clearly loved what they do! I enjoyed the adults pool along with the regular. with the palace, you have access ro Riu Santa Fe (which is a bit more for partiers) yet i got to enjoy the pool parties there, while kids enjoyed the Splash Park. Rooms were clean and well serviced. Not even 1 gecko was found in the room (partial Oceanview) which was comforting for the kids compared to other resorts we hace stayed in mexico. Would def choose Riu Palace again (regardless of where we go)!!

Will never do business with Expedia or RIU palace hotels. Flight got cancelled and Expedia or the hotel didn’t reimburse the money paid for the hotel. They kept telling me to call each other for refund. Expedia and Riu Palace is a joke! STAY AWAY! Lost 2k and family vacation.
