Staff were very friendly and helpful except reception people, not friendly and couple of times rude. Rooms were very clean except for the washrooms in the lobby, so disgusting. Poor entertainment day and night time. And charge you even to play bingo at the pool. The pool water was so cold and they didn't fix the heat of the pool. The buffet they have to serve you and so repetitive, food I was not impressed. Mexican food it's better that that. I saw some people happy. I guess everything depends of your expectations. Was not shipped at all to say it's ok.

The service if you don’t have all inclusive is not good. It’s very hard to get ice and ask for anything. Housekeepers are great front desk need to step it up. Coming from a 5 star hotel manager

Front desk staff were not very welcoming, friendly or helpful. The other staff were great. I was delighted with Omar, the tennis coach, but the front desk staff made no efforts to promote tennis or this wonderful coach. I highly recommend Omar for anyone going to visit there.

They give you 2 bottles of water in your room and expect you to wander around and fill them yourself, very bothersome. Not a lot of choice for food but it was really really good.

It is an old hotel, beds are not confortable, food is OK, but you will have the beach to yourself because there is no one asking you to buy anything. Walking distance are many dining options including Comercial Mexicana where you can have a great breakfast for less than 6 dollars. If I go back, I will stay close to the marina in the weekends, just to be close to the party, and in this hotel on the weekdays.

Upon arrival ( after traveling several hours) we were tired and wanting to get to our room, change into beach clothes, and sit on the beach. When we arrived we were greeted at the front desk and then passed on to a "host" that was to tell us where our room was and some info about the property. The "host" had us sit down on the couch and started giving info about the hotel and then showing us all sorts of activities. After anout 10 minutes, She then invited us to her "home" for lunch the next day and circled a place on the map and showed is a picture. She said we could have one of the activities for free if we came to "her home" for lunch. REALLY! A TIMESHARE PITCH UPON OUR ARRIVAL AT THE HOTEL! I said no thank you we are not committing. That was a waste of my time and I felt bombarded at the hotel. I thought I was away from that as soon as I left the airport. Then we had a bottom floor room and often it would smell like sewer feom it venting up from the bathroom shower drain. The staff mostly was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great because they made tortillas right there. The beach and pool area was nice. It cost $55 american to get from the airport to the hotel. After talking with another guest, she told me that there is a little desk just past and around the corner from the front desk where i could arrange a cheaper ride back to the airport for our departure day. The front desk was not very helpful, they did their job but not above and beyond.

People who work here are great. Area was awesome and beach amazing. Only thing for me was I was put in a room above the tennis court so was very noisy at times. Otherwise patio was great could hear the waves crashing. Would stay again and bring my family.

Great beach view and friendly staff. Just wish the concierge staff was not so pushy with other hotel presentations to the point that they make you uncomfortable to walk by them. The rooms are in need of an upgrade. The appliances in the room were old and out of order. The fridge smelled really bad.

The area of the hotel is perfect. It’s not far from downtown José . The staff were helpful. The area is in the hotel zone and as a woman I felt safe walking around in the night. Affordable food options in the area. My only complain was my shower had black ( looks like mold) around the door. The rooms give an older hotel look. Look like the picture. I would recommend staying if you are on a budget in Cabo
