Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was set up weird because there is not much privacy since there is only a curtain between the bed and bath tub, and the toilet room only has a glass door. View of the ocean from the room was beautiful. Staff was great, the concierge was very helpful. Food was delicious but I didn’t like having to make reservations for dinner while I was on vacation. Just wanted to be able to walk in to eat when I wanted. Overall it was a great time. Love how the resort has daily activities that you can participate in while in the pool.

The property, staff and service were all good but the food wasn’t great. The property also didn’t have a club so considering it was an adults only resort. The lounge was ok. Not really a place where we could dance. The shows were nice too. I would not go back to this resort and would not recommend it either.

The resort is nice and quiet but the food options could be a lot better. A staff member on the cleaning staff spilled a bottle of water while cleaning and did not clean it up...ended up shorting the socket next to the nightstand and completely drenching a brand new novel that was meant to be read during our stay.The staff person then denied ever doing such a thing and claimed that no water was spilled...the staff member must have forgotton that they actually moved a few of the wet items around in the room closer to the patio to dry...smh.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marquis. From the beautiful property, room, great quality food, bar but mainly the staff made us feel at home. We really enjoyed our stay! The staff was hospitable, attentive, and ensured we had a great time! The food was delicious- Vista Ballenas was the best, however, the dinner at Pergola was very good and the ambience was romantic. The oceanfront view was priceless! I would definitely recommend this resort for couples if you’re looking for a romantic getaway!
