Resort Getting Tired

We stayed at this resort in 2019 and loved it. It was different this trip. I was disappointed that some of the resort was now the Altitude Club and off limits to Krystal Grand guests. The rooms are getting tired and worn and are not as shown in the add. The service wasn’t the best not due to staff not working hard, there just were not enough staff. The food was alright but the lines were long. Overall it is not a resort we will revisit, which makes me sad because I certainly loved it the first time.

We were not keen on the activity noise around the pools. However, our concierge Expedia representative was attentive before our arrival and during the entire stay. He made the difference of the experience and made it incredibly we are very grateful to Gabriel.

We had a great stay at this resort! It was exactly what it was meant to be… sun, surf and drinks. Is it a 5 star? Absolutely not, but it is not priced as such. I actually think it was very well priced for the value. We escaped the tailed of Canadian winter and it was great!

The food was average. The room was tired, bits broken here and there, a lot of dust and dirt under the bed. The noise from the road was very loud. The pool area was extremely clean, the staff were very attentive and very friendly. The beach from the property was excellent.

The food was delicious. Our favorite restaurants were the The Grill (steakhouse) and El Mortero (mexican). The outdoor Fiesta Mexicana dinners were amazing. Such good food. The kids pool/slide entertained my son for hours each day. Resort was small enough to get around quickly but not overly crowded. Beach and sand were perfect. Great weather. Great Family time. Will go again.

I was a single mother on Spring Break with my 15 year old daughter. It was the perfect resort for us! The pool activities, the amazing wait staff at the pool, clean rooms, good food and the great hospitality and support by our Expedia representative Gabriel made the trip perfect. The staff was amazing, but the property was beat up, in the pictures online it looks so beautiful but definitely not the case. The chairs, sofa and bedding were stained, refreshments in the fridge were warm (the refrigerator never cooled).

This was my first all inclusive resort. We traveled all over southern baja and chose here for our last 2 nights before heading home. Good: for families, the water park, endless food, beachfront. Bad: the food is ok but not great. Its loud and spring break style. Drinks are ok. It is the cheapest all inclusive the area so still pleased. Kids and my husband had fun but i prefer smaller quiet hotels. Staff was excellent.

The property views were amazing however I did notice until we started showing money we notice a lil bit of prejudice towards african Americans ppl …and maybe that’s African Americans fault for not tipping. However our service was amazing once we showed money lol. Sorry for the truth. The gentlemen who served by the altitude swimming area and the waiter from the romantic dinner was of 5star quality. Everyone else completely ignored us until we showed money to let them know we were tipping but I notice them helping every one else who weren’t lol and that’s perfect fine. Great place great views and the food wasn’t so good.

If you want to walk to in town areas this is not the place to stay. I felt I couldn’t walk safely like I had my last trip where I stayed else where.
