This is a beautiful resort set upon a cliff above the ocean between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. It is quiet and restful, so if you're looking for a party this isn't it. It was perfect for us. Our room was great, we asked for a garden view ground floor room and that's exactly what we got. Beautiful views from multiple areas in the resort! There's a shuttle that goes into downtown Cabo every 2 hours (no charge) so you can get into town and back easily. They drop you off at the sister property which is the Marina Fiesta and you are able to use the pool there as well as the restaurants downtown that are included in the all Inclusive package. The pools are warm, the drinks are cold, the food is decent, and everyone was kind and helpful. The resort is well kept, aside from the odd broken pool tile, but the grounds are beautiful and the buildings are well maintained and clean. The service is a bit slow, and you do have to sign for your drinks and meals, but overall it is a great resort and we would definitely come back. Complaints (not major ones though): Slow service, housekeeping didn't always replace certain bathroom amenities like facecloths, soap etc, they inflate the prices of the food and drinks here I believe in hopes of getting bigger tips so be aware if you are not choosing the all-inclusive option, the "presentation" that they say takes about 90 min, actually took almost 4 hours so it's not really worth the "discounts" that you get for doing it. We enjoyed it!

My wife and I were looking for a break from reality, El Encanto All Inclusive Resort at Hacienda Encantada was that break. Beautiful, relaxed, lovely staff, excellent facilities, dining options and magnificent views. It was an idyllic experience, we loved it. Wish it was longer.

This place was unbelievably beautiful. The views are insane, the property is gorgeous and huge. All the staff were super friendly, attentive and helpful. There's a bunch of dining options from tacos to drinks and snacks by the pool to fine dining. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. They offer onsite activities and help secure off site activities. There's shuttle service frequently to the sister resort in Los Cabos and the airport of course. We paid for the all inclusive package however it's a bit decieving. Not everything is included we even found some of the restaurants that were included had hidden upcharges or items with an additional cost. They are a cashless resort so all tips and extras are charged to the room or your credit card. Tipping adds up quickly and the store at the resort is overpriced. After check in they encourage you to do a time share presentation and those that have time share perks do have exclusive access to some areas and things. Overall we'd return in a heartbeat. We had a fantastic stay. However even if you book all inclusive expect to spend extra, you may want to check the fine print to ensure you know whats included and what's not. 24 hour Starbucks is not included for example. Thanks for a great stay! Hope to see you again.

The heat/ac was broken. We called it in. Maintenence guy just shrugged. Shower drain was blocked, water ran into the room. The maid dried the floor, no repair. Thin walls. We asked for 2 queen or double beds in the booking. Nope, was told it's not available on arrival. We will not return.

An amazing experience! I purchase the premium there , however I wish I would have know before hand. The receipt thing in all inclusive resort did throw me off too much paperwork in my opinion. Other than that I rate this place a 5 start!!!

This resort stands out not just because the location is amazing but the staff is hard working, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. ( from the reception to the gardeners) I like all of them. We did get the offer to join a time share presentation which we declined and there was no follow up calls or pressure. We also paid for the premium all inclusive which were not aware of until we arrived and we would definitely upgrade again if we return, Overall I love this resort.

Stayed with toddler - family friendly, and many other children present. Little on-site convenience store provided anything extra we needed for our room, this was helpful. Beautiful resort, landscaping and clean. Although the toddler water section is aging: broken water toys and some rust on water features. Toddler still had fun, and this section is conveniently located near the washrooms and pool/lunch restaurant. The kids club could use a good wipe and the materials could be cared for better before being offered to children - sharpen pencil crayons/broken toys. Space seems like an after thought, rather than a place that’s cared for or prioritized. Do not need to opt for premium all inclusive package offered during check in, regular all inclusive option was more than enough. The only downside was regular all-inclusive option didn’t include room service, but enough food options throughout resort and if you did want room service with your regular alll-inclusive package, you could pay a small fee upon checkout. Ophelia was an incredibly warm host and server, whenever we’d cross paths with her at dinner (offering meal/upcoming event suggestions, etc). Golf cart services were always readily available to move throughout resort. Hospitable and kind staff.

Late December All Inclusive stay. Super easy check-in. Food was great with plenty of options for an entire week. We used the free shuttle to go to the marina and tried two of the restaurants included in the inclusive sister hotel plan. Always great and super easy to obtain access with our bracelets and room number. We were on the fourth floor and saw whales almost every hour. Room was great. Beds and pillows perfect and so was shower pressure. Two gyms and both were great. It's rare for us to go back to any property (especially an all-inclusive), but unanimous vote that we would all go back! Thank you!

The food was amazing at every restaurant and every meal. Did y have a bad meal all week. The drinks, weren’t great. I don’t think they mix them properly and most weren’t worth having a second one of. Service was also a little slow for drinks around the pool and it wasn’t that busy. They had a glitch in their system which made for a rather embarrassing moment at dinner and spoiled what was supposed to be a great dinner. Front desk took care of the issue the next day but we lost out on amenities we paid for that their system didn’t show. They also tried to charge both groups double for the airport shuttle and corrected the mistake when called out but it was strange seeing that happen to both parties. The views are unreal. The property is in great shape. The pitching course is in great shape but overpriced. Really enjoyed our time there, just some minor things that stood out.
