Perfect stop for a long road trip!

Our hotel was clean and conveniently located to Pea Soup Andersen Restaurant. There were green areas for us to walk our dog. Our room was quiet. The only difficulty was when we were checking in… Hotels.com did not have an area for us to include our dog in the original reservation. So we needed to cancel the Hotels.com reservation and make a new booking at the hotel itself. Breakfast was great… eggs, bacon, yoghurt… not just carbs. We’ll be back to stay here again. And, the pool was very nice.

I have been staying at this motel occasionally since 1976. great rooms, always clean. also safe and quiet. restaurant right across the parking lot. It's a five star rating for me and I think you.

Good place for a travel stop over

The hotel is a quaint, historic location popular for Andersen’s Pea Soup restaurant. We had dinner there which was excellent. The room we stayed in was neat and clean however had a strong smell of cigarettes. We booked a non smoking room, but this room had clearly been used by smokers. The front desk was sympathetic but unfortunately no other room was available. They did send a maintenance person with air deodorizer which helped a little. Overall not a bad place to stay, just could’ve been better.

Late night sleep stop.

Very friendly staff, reasonable price, good breakfast, clean bathroom and shower, good size room. My only negatives were that the room had a slight smoker smell, the light from the courtyard was shining under the curtains on the slider all night, and the carpet was pretty stained. For price and convenience, I’d stay here again.
