There is a lot of old Hollywood history and a good central location on the Hollywood walk of fame. They have a very gorgeous retro glam lobby with hand painted ceiling and beautiful pool area with great cocktails! Love!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel We were particularly impressed with the beauty of the hotel, our room, and the lovely pool area. The 10th-floor view from our room was truly exceptional, and having the convenience of two bathrooms was a great bonus. My 13 year old son absolutely loved his time at the hotel. The central Hollywood location was also perfect for our plans, allowing us easy access to all the attractions we wanted to visit.

The room was nice, but I would not recommend this hotel for serveral reasons. First we chose to stay at this hotel for the location, amenities and the pool and except for the location we were met with disappointment after disappointment. We were on the 10th floor and the difficulties we experienced with only one working elevator made leaving and reentering the hotel a major obstacle.The hotel lobby and one of the restaurants were closed the first day due to private events. The second day both the speak-easy and gaming parlor were closed due to events. Requiring us to go to 25° again or leave the hotel altogether to figure it out for dinner or drinks. When we tried to go to the pool, we were turned away because reservations were required. There were lounge chairs visibly available, so we left frustrated.The room also did not provide coffee. We were required to go down to the restaurant for free coffee which was only available for 2 hours each morning. Cleaning staff attempted to enter our room inexplicably one afternoon after our room had been cleaned that morning. The hotel is also not fully accessible as stairs are required to get to and leave the registration area / valet exit. Finally, the hotel is very dark with poor lighting throughout.

Bathroom needs to be updated and renovated. The drains empty slowly in sink & bathtub. Glass shower door blocks entry to main bathroom door. Get wet when you need to use shower. Controls on far wall

Hotel was nice and tidy, they have only really expensive parking option, but you can leave car on other side of the street in the parking garage. Staff -some people were nice, some - total mess. At the front there was a girl, her name is Falcone. It was the worst person I ever met at hotel. She was extremely rude to my wife and even slammed doors in front of her. Thank god there was other guy at the front who was able to help

Its an iconic hotel on the walk of fame. The staff work really hard and extend hospitality in every way. They are let down by senior management. There are 8 valets and 1 guy behind the front desk with a queue of 30 people. The interesting thing is the staff outright apologizes and tells you their leadership is clueless. Its bad to see hard working people in the hospitality industry let down by ignorant senior management.

Center of Hollywood

Parking was valet and price was a bit of a shock. Check-in was great and our room was comfortable. The fridge and cabinet were stuffed full of tempting, expensive snacks and drinks. Although we were set back from the street, traffic noise came in anyway, so ear plugs are a good idea. Staff was lovely. They put an additional sum on your credit card in case of room damage, which we're waiting to be refunded. The lobby area is magnificent. Perfect location for feeling in Hollywood.
