Great location and accessible. Restaurant and facilities are great. Bathroom shower could be cleaner. Check in was terrible. We booked through Expedia having a rate guarantee. Upon arrival the supervisor on duty informed us that the hotel booking system is different than Expedia and proceeded to quote us a much higher rate for our 5 night stay. She came across very rude, but did end up apologizing after she recognized herself that her behaviour was unacceptable. We did speak to the Manager the following morning who resolved the rate issue. That said it was not a pleasant experience after a long travel to start your vacation.

Mid-century midern gem close to Universal
The Garland is a mid-century modern gem with all the latest amenities. We really enjoyed the pool area which had great food, comfy seating, hot tubs, 1 just for adults, and nightly movies. The trolley to and from Universal was very convenient.

We loved this hotel! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The vibe is retro chic and really cute. We had bites/drinks in the bar which were tasty. The rooms were very clean. Loved this property and will definitely be back again!

I loved the decor at Ghe Garland - it was warm and inviting, with lovely lighting. The pool was great too and the bar and courtyard were lively.
