Overall, this hotel is a good value. I've stayed here twice and was pleased both stays. Friendly staff and generally clean and safe environment. I know what to expect. Super great and walkable end of Ventura Blvd with lots of convenient shopping and coffee and food establishments. Giving 4 stars 'vuz I would say rooms are in need of an update.

Great stay. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Location was spot on, very central to points of interest in the surrounding area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a bonus & substantial for the price of the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was nice for the most part. Lots of amenities were included for my stay. The pillows were a little weird, because they are square, not rectangular. The bed was comfortable though. They had cute, little pastries available in the morning too. I didn't try the swimming pool as I was really busy during my stay. The staff were mostly accommodating, but one of the men working was pretty grumpy any time I would ask a question. I asked maybe three questions during my three night stay, and every time he seemed like it was an inconvenience to answer it. Overall, I really liked it here though.

The front desk worker was so nice he tried to book me in the renovated rooms, but they were already occupied by the time I checked in (I booked through Expedia so I'm assuming it doesn't automatically save you a specific room).

It was clean , had parking , friendly staff, pool was nice. No issues . Rooms needed a bit of work, cracked tiles, chipped furniture and snags in the curtains, this didn’t affect our stay.

I originally booked a 2 king suite and did not get the room I requested. Second the bathtub was dirty and extremely slippery. Lastly we did not get room service while we were there therefore I did not get any extra shampoo/conditioner for my stay and had to buy in a gas station near by not woth my money.

Close to LA downtown, universal studios and santa monica which is the places we visited. Nothing fancy of this hotel. But good confortable beds, heated pool which the kids enjoyed. Would come back for the price and location.
