very easy access to Sofi. but they did not allow us to leave our luggage before check-in, which was very inconvenient. Also, at the check-in time, many guests arrived at once and the process was extremely slow — we had to wait in line for almost an hour just to check in.

Location is fantastic if you are going to Sofi Stadium or the Intuit Dome, it was an easy 15 minute walk from the hotel to Sofi Stadium. That's honestly the best thing I can say about the Lum though, don't get me wrong, It's a nice hotel but you are definitely paying for the location and they seem to know that since they really don't try to make much of an effort. The check-in process was incredibly slow taking two hours to get checked into our room which after reading numerous other reviews over several sites, this is a common, persistant issue the hotel has not figured out or doesn't care to address. Would only recommend if proximity to Sofi or Intuit is highest on your priority list.

Omg as a newcomer to California I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. Not knowing much about Inglewood, and the proximity to sporting arenas… I thought for sure there would be a sketchiness factor, poor food choices, etc (I was super wrong!). Food in the area is great, tons of variety and quality. Rooms are very nice but do vary in quality (do not take the room nearest to Checkin counter on first floor (facing towards the street) - you will hear every car that valets, every word said by front desk staff, and every idling car in the lot… but as a smoker I didn’t complain because I was able to slip out my patio quickly without having to cross the entire hotel (I stayed on third floor w/ pool view the majority of my nights there - superb, amazing). Pool is great and clean and the hot tub is key but no jets!

I would have liked to have more light in the room. It was quite dark in the bedroom area. Most of the time, there was a long line at the front desk with only one person working. That one employee was also answering the phone!

The stay itself was optimal. Check-in was not. The concierge was severely understaffed for a concert weekend. There was another team member trying to assist, but kept asking for instruction and a blond woman was becoming visibly frustrated. I applaud the concierge for keeping her cool, but i hope that being so close to 2 stadiums, you would have a working calender to prepare for weekend events!

The room was very nice, and the pool area is well maintained and relaxing. The staff were also very nice and it was very easy to walk to SoFi Stadium. However, check in was at 4pm, and I didn’t get into my room until 5:30pm because there was a long line to check in, and there were plenty of people behind me. I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to get into my room with time to shower and get ready for the concert. I did, but it was very nerve wracking. I understand it takes time to clean rooms, so early check in wasn’t an option, but I feel like there has to be a faster way to go about checking in a large number of people.
