This property was full but VERY quiet and we appreciated that a lot! It was clean, but a bit shabby. Not a real problem. We would stay there again if we needed a place in Monterey Park!

I am only giving one star because I can give less. After checking me in they scammed me by charging me for parking in cash when reservation cleared stays the parking is included, when confronted the guy at the front desk started raising his voice and got super offensive. He refused to check me out at the moment and refund my money. DO NOT STAY HERE THEY WILL SCAM YOU.

Motel 6 is our go-to for reliable accommodations. The customer service is always good, the amenities we need for our stay always available, location and proximity to our activities and events, and the price is reasonable.

Not worth $100 a night . Terrible parking lot. Bad neighborhood . The doors were as secure as a ziploc bag. So not pay in advance. See the place first and youll mark it off the list of possibilities .

Dirty Room

I was surprised to have to pay a $5 a day cash only parking fee to be allowed to park our car on the Motel 6's premises before I was to check into our room. The towels and bedding were stained and did not appear to be very clean. I had to clean coffee rings and food scraps off of both nightstands. There was a huge sticky spill of something under the table in the room. There was no coffee of anything provided as part of the advertised "continental breakfast" on either of the two mornings we were there. I had notified them at booking that I was coming to stay so I could have a surgical procedure at USC. On the first night I asked for extra towels, which appeared to be cleaner than the ones in the room. We were not given fresh towels nor was the trash dumped, or the room cleaned during our two-night stay. I slept in my clothes to make sure that my surgical wounds from my outpatient procedure would not be exposed to the bedding, to prevent contamination and infection. I was very disappointed as Motel 6's are usually simple but very clean.

This place was very shady. When you see signs of no human trafficking posted in lobby not a good place for a family. I left day early. I wish I could get get a refund. Walls are thin you can hear people all. Night

You get what you pay for… except parking

Parking was terrible. I paid for parking and needed to head out for a bit. When I returned, I found there was no place to park my car. I asked the front desk about it, and they said that it was really bad. It doesn’t make sense to charge people for parking if you don’t keep track of the parking spots you have available. I had to park a block away and walk back to the hotel. I stayed at this location because I was evacuated from my home due to the Eaton Fires, which made it even more difficult to park my car in a secure location with all my valuables and important items. Overall, it was not a pleasant stay. Aside from the parking, there were people just hanging out on the balconies chatting and smoking.
