This hotel was located in the dirtiest area and the hotel is so old that the air conditioning didn’t work and the room was literally like a sauna. On top of this the WiFi didn’t work in that room. Was moved to another room and again the WiFi didn’t work. Moved to a third room, was told it was an ungrade and yet there were bugs and cracks all over the room. At least the air conditioning worked. And blood stains next to the toilet paper. It is still there. The bottom line is that these things can happen at any hotel but the hotel manager, Albert, was so rude that I will never ever come to this hotel and will never recommend this hotel to anyone I know. I travel to the LA area very often but this experience was the worst. And the staff offered half off the first night and I have yet to see it taken off.

I enjoyed my stay @ Biltmore..Im a fan of historic hotel properties..this property is outstanding in Downtown LA. Close walk to Grand Central Market. The history associated with this property spands 100 years. I would definitely stay again.

Nice in its hey day

Check in was ok, no help with luggage. Very impressive entrance and Lobby, but that’s where it ends. The rooms are dated but clean. We had no hot water for 3 days, 4th day they got it working, room keys kept playing up and stopped working, changed them 4 times, overall an ok hotel in Downtown LA. I personally wouldn’t stay again.
