After a pleasant stay at checkout i mentioned that the flush in the bathroom needed some maintenance, this was taken very seriously and i am sure will be addressed. It’s a classic airport hotel where a long term guest stays more than one night. The prices for anything is off the chart. The overnight parking is $70 and then they want a $10 tip. I said it was cheaper to park the car at LAX so I would drop my bags off the park there. This was met with a big discount to $45. I stayed for 2 nights and elected to hand the car back to the rental company on the last night. Yes you guessed it, the charge was added. I presented the receipt for the rental showing 6:20pm so they had no choice but to delete the charge. The bar and restaurant lack any ambience and the prices are expensive. I’m my opinion this is a 3 star hotel with 5 star prices. On the upside, it’s only a few minutes to the terminals and the transfer is free.

Not really walkable from LAX because of roadways but shuttle was easy to catch. Food was basic but good. Great views of landing airplanes. The area around the hotel is vacant. Good option for early flight out of LAX.

We had a 1 night stop over in LA and chose the Hyatt as it is close to LAX. Shuttle was easy to get and a great benefit. The room itself is a bit tired and not clean- hair in towel, stains on chairs and general dust and woodwork damage. There is also no drinking water in the room and no mini bar. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were very friendly. Good choice for a short stay if you need somewhere to crash waiting between flights.

The Hyatt Regency is conveniently located near LAX. Fortunately it is in walking distance because we waited forever for the shuttle to the hotel but it didnt come so we walked. The rooms are grungy and need repair and a deep cleaning. Brown stains on the wallpaper by toilet and sink. The shower rod was hanging down so the shower curtain wouldnt stay closed so the floor got soaked.The walls by elevator were peeling. The sheets had holes, one hole seemed to be a burn with hard crispy melted edges. The food dash service from the restaurant said our food would arrive in "30 min or less" but after 45min i called to check and it was on the way but the guy had multiple orders to drop off. It took about an hour to get our bag of food. Food was just ok...sweet potato tater tots were not good at all and way overdone. On our return to the airport the shuttle was quick to come, it took about 30min due to traffic and other drop offs. I would stay here again because its convenient location. The front desk staff and shuttle driver were very nice and helpful.

Room was not cleaned properly. Found some candy wrappers and a water bottle in the garage can in the room. Carpet was very dirty and needed vacuumed. The table had sticky something on it in an area. Don’t think they even wiped it down prior. We should have moved rooms but we were exhausted from a 15 hour flight wanted to go to bed. It was 7am. The front desk offered another room but nothing was available until later in the day. My husband ate at the restaurant and said it was average and very brightly lit like a cafeteria. Probably Would not stay there again.

Great stopover
The hotel provided a very convenient location with respect to the airport, as we were in transit for 1 day. Shuttle service was very convenient, but you have to flag down the shuttle driver at the busy airport. The restaurant, Becketts, had great lunch and breakfast and accommodating servers.
