Location is easy peasy for getting around the area. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean, easy to get in and out of. Parking garage right underneath. The loacation is right along the freeway. So there is noise from foot traffic, and a pathway of the un-housed out the window. But we felt safe and comfortable the whole stay. Would stay again for sure

The carpet was dirty. I don’t know how often they clean these carpets. I told the manager in charge of room cleaning and he was rude. Instead of saying thank you for letting us know. He said ok, ok, I’ll get cleaned when you leave. He seemed frustrated when he was doing he’s job. I told the hotel manager and he also wasn’t very nice. Accused me of being rude to staff when I wasn’t. I’m a business owner and I was polite and respectful.

Overall had a great stay at the Hotel Mariposa. It's a pretty clean place with decent rooms and nice amenities for a hotel at this price range. Service is exceptional. Ashley was super nice and very welcoming at the front desk and when I had an issue with my room safe the nice Australian guy fixed the issue immediately. All of the staff were friendly. 2 things to note: 1) they have a nice large hot tub but no pool in case you are looking for swimming 2) Parking is $25/nt but if you are flexible with the parking hours (8am-6pm) you can park on the street. Would recommend.

Great hotel and everything was wonderful. My favorite things were that the entire hotel was very clean and neat. I’m big on staying at clean and tidy hotels and this one definitely hit the mark. It’s been recently remodeled and it looks great. It’s nothing extremely fancy or premium but definitely has a new and renovated look/feel to it. Staff is awesome. Check in and check out was great and the person at the food bar was always so nice and kind. The staff always smiles and says hello. There is a parking garage right at the hotel for $25. Wish it was complimentary but most hotels in LA don’t offer that anyway. Right across the street there is a small restaurant (didn’t check it out but looks like a decent option if you dont want to go far. There is also a Whole Foods grocery store and two gas stations about a 30 second walk from the hotel so those are good options if you want some snacks and drinks. These are the closest and most convenient options where you can step out and grab something within a min or two. There’s a really nice outdoor patio with tables for hanging out and eating- this is the same area where the jacuzzi is located. Nice to hang out or eat lunch if you bring it back to the hotel. The hotel doesn’t have a huge lobby, it’s more of an entrance where you walk in through to check in but there is a decent sized sitting area where the food station/bar is located. There are a number of booths/tables to sit and eat or just hang out. The rooms are also great!
