Overall it wasn't the best experience. Staff was friendly. Property was conveniently located. Lobby was nicely decorated. Our room had a light, but noticeable smoke smell. The smell was partially from some of the pillows but remained slightly afterwards. We kept the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, but the housekeeping entered anyway. One shirt that was on the bed was mistakenly taken and was never recovered. After talking with several employees, we were give a credit and that was appreciated. The room itself wasnt super clean. Some marks and small holes were present on the walls. It just wasn't the best experience we had hoped for. There were some positives so that's the reason for the 3-star rating.

Good price, safe and very convenient while visiting family in Duarte. Upscale design elements (molding, curtains, gorgeous bathroom and shower, new in-room hvac, attractive stairwell etc), but no breakfast, no coffe, tea or cups in room (just a cheap maker), no hand soap at sink (nice dispensers in shower), no kleenex, budget bureau.

Not worth even an overnight
The bed was on some wooden planks and other mattress underneath it making it kinda low to the ground and very stiff. The shower was not clean see attached pics. Coffee machine just had cups. No packages for instant coffee. Reception area and lobby door was broken, so you had to be ghetto and ring the bell for someone. Was never told anything if they have a morning breakfast or coffee. The door to the bathroom had a dent in it. TV remote was so delayed in switching channels and even when pointed at the tv you would have to angle a certain way for it to pick up the input. For the price compared to other within similar price range they need to offer the same as other hotels and be more clean.

Cleanliness and bed comfort were great. However, desk staff were brusk, didn’t know or care where to recommend a breakfast restaurant, and on arrival kept 3 parties waiting for over 10 minutes be ford even showing up T the desk. Staff lacks hospitality training. One employee was personable and knowledgeable, and that made a big difference.
