Beautiful hotel, beautiful pool, very nice room!
The hotel is conveniently located in walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and CalTech (which was the reason I stayed there). It's a historic hotel and beautiful with its court yard and the large pool. My room (an upgrade) was a corner room with a balcony, newly furnished, very nice. My only complaint was the lack of a coffee maker or water boiler. The hotel has a coffee bar that opens at 6:30am.

Spent a couple of days here after getting married. Staff were friendly and very open to feedback. Only downside was the bar tender at the time but everyone else was helpful and accommodating! Most places are walkable if you want breakfast and or coffee. I’d say it’s in the heart of Pasadena so it’s a great place to be somewhere close to Old Town.

Excellent lobby and entertainment. You really get the vacation in Pasadena vibe immediately from the bar and lounge atmosphere. Recommend the corner rooms, especially on the top floor. The pool is relaxing to lounge, have a morning coffee with the sunshine! Great location, great staff, overall must stay in Pasadena

I really liked this hotel for its very old school lobby with lots of cozy and comfortable spaces and a quite active chess board going on at a community table. It was really cool. My room was very comfortable and modern, with great access to charging outlets and a very comfortable bed. One thing I found a little silly was the room lighting scheme and controls. They managed to make a really simple idea more complicated than it needed to be. It was actually somewhat difficult to have a fully lit room.
