I came up to LA with my daughter for an appointment at CHLA which is just down the street (less than 15 minute walk). The hotel was just what we needed and more. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable. The courtyard is adorable and so relaxing to see at night. The pool was great too. We have to come back each year, so this will definitely be our go-to place. My daughter especially loved the white birds of paradise outside our window-- we didn't realize they could get that tall!

A pesar de que esta localizado en un lugar poco agradable, el hotel cuenta con buenas instalaciones y en buenas condiciones, la limpieza no del todo bien en los cuartos, 40 dlls por estacionamiento me parece muy ridiculo; se escucha demasiado todo el ruido de afuera y de los cuartos vecinos.

Got told I needed a $200 pre-authorization but the white lady that got checked in after me only got asked for her ID. Shower wasn’t working and no one came to fix. Lots of attitude from the front desk workers… no customer service skills.

Front desk staff are so friendly & helpful! Room was spacious & very clean. Bed a bit firm for my liking. Loved the beauty of the old building & property. Secured parking was a plus. Will definitely stay there again. Bistro Restaurant on the ground floor….rude staff, horrible coffee, ridiculous prices, go somewhere else to eat!

The electricity would go off each night around 3 to 4 am. And it caused a serious problem for one of us who uses a CPAP device which causes breathing difficulties until startled awakening and discovering the electricity had gone out off automatically. We then discovered that you had to use wall switch to reactivate to reactivate the electricity.

Not very walkable, entrances/exits are hard to find. Definitely not a 4 star hotel and rooms are small. Amenities, space, nothing is worth it, but a pillow to lay your head. Staff were nice though!
