While my five day stay there was a swimming school taking over the indoor pool with swimming lessons going on during the morning hours 10-2pm typically. The pool was shared with the swimming school and the area was crowded. Pool capacity is only 11 people and there were about 3-4 people in the pool due to the swimming lessons. This was very inconvenient and will not be staying there again.

Short stay due to long lay over in LA. Just slept and ate their good breakfast. The only bad thing is they got rid of their airport transfers. It would be really helpful if they had it as it was a pain to get uber from the LAX airport

Check-In was easy. They allowed me to add my Hilton honors number even though I booked third party, that way I could use the digital room key. Breakfast was consistent, and facilities were clean. No complaints. Staff was accommodating. Price was worth the value.

I never thought a hotel like Hampton would leave me with a very bad impression and disappointment. My son has respiratory problems and we picked this hotel not just for convenience, but because it was supposed to be free of smoking, but it wasn’t!! We were so tired from our long trip that we just needed to rest but few minutes after we were sleeping we smelled marihuana in the room and we were thinking where was coming from so we had to put the fan but at the end we went back to sleep, but to make it worst early in the morning when we were heading to have breakfast we smelled marihuana again!!! right on the second floor right after few rooms ahead of us and at the elevator door..we were so upset but good thing we were about to check out.. we found a janitor on the way down and l told him and he said there is nothing they could do!! What! And l said this is supposed to be a free of smoking hotel!! Mostly because is not cheap and has good rating! Anyways we told the front desk girl who didn’t even ask how our experience was, so the only thing she said “sorry”!! And that she will tell the manager.. that’s it!!! What about we had to inhale that, mostly with a son with respiratory problems!! Worst experience in a LA hotel.. I wish this help other people to give honest reviews so we know before staying in one..

Not using Hotels.com again

Hampton Inn LAX did not have hot water working at check in. I was not wanting to look for another hotel because it was past midnight. Hampton Inn offered me 30% off for the inconvenience. Though, I had to go through Hotels.com to get it. I never got it. Therefore I will never use hotels.com again. I've been a customer of hotels.com for a very long time and am very dissapointed and dissatisfied how they did not want to give my 30% back to me. Hampton did their part, not Hotels.com

Appreciated how close it was to the airport along with the free breakfast. We walked to fast food the first night we were there. Check-in was very easy, even though we had reserved many rooms.
