While the room and property are squarely a decent 2 star offering on the furnishing and cleanliness side, be wary. There is no live person at front desk. The beautiful art-deco check-in counter in the photo I'm looking at is actually boarded up and covered with fake plants. In its place: a computer kiosk with a person on screen 24/7. I suppose this is serviceable most of time, but what do you do when the internet goes down, as it did when me and 5 others behind me wanted to check in? Nobody else on site is empowered to help you. Check-in took 45 minutes. I was given free parking for 1 day for the inconvenience. I guess this is better than the completely human-less offerings other hotels roll out -- but not by much. When things go sidewise as they did for me, the very least I need is a person, a real live person, to talk to.

We just stayed one night before our final leg to Anaheim. There is a digital check in with a receptionist over a screen on a kiosk that I wasn’t a fan of. We had to wait awhile to check in. I was also told it would be a $150 hold on my card, i checked today (2 days later) and it’s a $300 hold. Parking is an extra $15 a night (also unaware of that when I booked). We probably won’t stay here again just because it seems a little creepy with no staff.

Many hotels I’ve stayed at allow early check-in if a room is available. This hotel did but for a fee. We really just needed a place to put our luggage but went ahead and paid the $35. When we checked into our room, we always check under the sheets for cleanliness and signs of bugs and found a squirming crawling larvae underneath the fitted sheet. I took a photo and video and went back downstairs to show the virtual attendant. She was courteous and understanding, and said they would have it checked into and get us into another room. We wasted an hour going through that process of trying to get another room and I asked if we could at least have our early check-in fee refunded. She checked with hotel management and said no. Not impressed and not coming back. But will be sure to share this with other travelers to help them avoid a similar, disgusting and disappointing experience.

Overall the hotel was good especially for the price. Room was nice and well furnished. Everything worked and was clean. My biggest negative was that there are no staff or front desk. There is a virtual kiosk with terrible acoustics where you check in. The agents have difficult hearing and all documents are done by email. It was a frustrating process.

I'm not sure I liked the remote person checking me in. Very strange, but efficient. We were not sure what would happen in an emergency, who would we call. I guess just 911. The remote desk check in person pointed out the coffee and water station, but she also said there were free snacks there. But, there were not any snacks. But the coffee station is excellent.

Although in-person interaction is kept to a minimum from the COVID lockdown days, the remote staff at the check-in kiosk were very warm and accommodating. It was interesting that visitors can fetch extra supplies on their own from the cabinet in the lobby, but for me was more convenient. Also, this is the first hotel out of any I've stayed at that had such a large refrigerator or offered moist wipes among their toiletries. That was a HUGE benefit for an $80/night hotel! Also, I booked 2 rooms for our family. They gave us interconnecting rooms so we never had to be apart from each other. That made our stay PERFECT!
Never been in a hotel with a fridge as large as this!
Good nightly rates for 2 queen beds.
Got to enjoy the week with my family who were staying in the next room.

Pretty cheap hotel. I booked it last minute, so can't complain too much, but now I see why it was available day of to book. They had a virtual check in process, and the system broke while people were in line so it took a long time to get my room key. Thin walls, loud doors, the window blinds aren't that effective, lots of light coming through at night when trying to sleep. Ultimately the place got the job done for a night, but I wouldn't stay here again if there are other options for slightly more in the area.
