I had an amazing stay at the Breakers. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing. I stayed here for work and ate lunch and dinner every day at the hotel. Honestly some of the best Italian I’ve ever had.

The renovations on the Fairmont Breakers Long Beach have brought a historic landmark back to life! High end design, creative dining options with a lovely pool on the third floor terrace make this hotel a must stay.

The hotel is beautiful with lots of choices for food and beverages. Every detail is so nicely restored. The rooms are quite small though with bathroom doors that allow very little privacy. The food and beverages are very, very expensive. A 4 ounce pour of Chardonnay was $23.00! Overnight parking was an additional $50 per night. A coffee in the morning was $7.00. That seems excessive. The area around the hotel has a lot of homeless and is dirty and feels unsafe. We did have a wonderful dinner at L’Opera- walking distance but I felt a little unsure of the safety of walking. The Museum and lunch at Claire’s was a highlight. I would recommend a visit to the hotel for sure, but just know that the $300 room rate is just the tip of the iceberg. Staff was very nice.

All good except the exterior noises from the back all night and early morning long. Must be deliveries and trash pick ups. Back up alarms etc. only stayed on one night , the noise was annoying. Probably will need to bring a sound machine to offset the rest of what is going on outside.

Million Dollar Experience
Oh my gosh to say this was luxurious is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I got called madam on the way in and my life changed then and there. Everything was unbelievably clean, advanced, and the service was unlike anything I’ve experienced. The hotel is valet only, so take that how you please. 10/10 will stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!
