The only less than excellent rating I gave was for the area around the property, due to street construction only. Steel plates covering the street would clank at night when driven over. Not the fault of the hotel though.

The Fairfield inn was a convenient place to stay before flying out from LAX! The shuttle from the airport to the hotel was every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day. The hotel itself was clean but definitely on the older side. I would recommend staying here for the convenience!

Pre-cruise stay

Stayed here before a cruise. This hotel is dated, but clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is extremely busy! Staff do a great job of managing the crowd and baggage storage, check-in etc. Breakfast was good. Lots of restaurants in the area. Free shuttle from the airport.

What a fantastic hotel/motel to end our honeymoon, all staff provided excellent service. The room was generous size with great environment and relaxing. The grounds looked well maintained and positive. Definitely a good place to stay for short and long visits. Breakfast was well presented just needed some bacon.

Spent 3-nights at this hotel. Workers were welcoming but the hotel itself needs work. The first 2 nights we spent in a room that had a broken AC, broken toilet, and a broken sliding door for the bathroom. Our last day we moved to a room with a working AC. The front desk seemed to be aware that the AC in our first room was already broken so I'm not sure why someone would put guests into that room. The rooms felt very humid and had this weird mildew smell. What's great is the free breakfast, and complimentary airport shuttle. It's also right across a grocery store, and many other restaraunts. It's not a terrible place to stay but it certainly doesn't meet the minimum requirements of selecting a hotel. I don't have high expectations but it is warm this time of year and having a working AC is important. This place may be doable if it's just for one night.

Was a convenient stop over, coming back from Asia and heading to east coast. There was an In-n-out burger very close. The lobby had a popcorn machine and free popcorn. The airport shuttle is at the top of tge hour, 24 hours.

Stay was okay. When we first got to our room we noticed the ac was not working. Our room was really hot. Called front desk they sent a gentleman from maintenance who let us know that there had been issues with that room (410) and the AC. He didn’t know why they put us in that room to begin with. We got moved to another room and the rest of the night was fine.
