Nice place

Very nice location, warm reception, friendly, and courteous. Since there was an issue, on a previous visit (Jan 2022), I mentioned that and I was upgraded to a room with a view of the harbor with a balcony as well. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Unfortunately the balcony area was filthy with a lot of build up on the ledge top out my door and the dividing wall. It seems like an easy keep up by housekeeping once it's cleaned. The previous visit's issue had been resolved. I like that there was a restaurant on site. Very disappointed that they charge $25 (which was complimentary for me this time) for parking, when there was no charge before. There's no parking structure, just open air lot.

We arrived early in the day from the east coast and were exhausted. The front desk staff was very polite and friendly, they went out of their way to get us a room quickly. We paid a small upgrade to a marina view room.

I only have 1500 characters, so her is the short shirt version. Overall I was pleased. On my second night of three, a staff member walked into my room, ignoring the do not disturbed sign, and without knocking. I'm a 0 disabled combat vet and I didn't take that very well. The lobby clerk, after finding out the intrusive staff member sent an item to my room instead of the room that ordered it. She made a pointless offer of replacing the key cards. I told her I just wanted to go to my room and cool off and we would discuss this when I check out. The lobby clerk ignored my boundary and offered me a hot and yummy breakfast. Shocked and appalled, I asked her that if I came into her residence when she was naked, would I be able to fix it with a hot yummy breakfast? She then offered me cookies. F@#! Cookies. Now I'm irate and using every effort in my being to stay as calm and civil as possible. The clerk had the nerve to start showing frustration. I avoided that lobby with every opportunity after that. I complained to the corporate number. I was told the manager would contact me the following day. It's now two days since the incident and no call, no email, nothing. I am so frustrated because this hotel is the perfect location for my needs when I visit every month. But I couldn't get more than four hours of broken sleep a night. The rest of the staff is amazing. The grounds are lovely. The calamari is exceptional. But this horrible situation makes me weigh my options carefully
