Great hotel! Really popping and hip. The hotel is extremely secure with ample security, given how sketch DTLA can get. The ambience is amazing and the crowd is really fun. The rooms are tech savvy, however lack a few basics like hot water kettles, refrigeration, ample outlets near the beds and coffee machines. They serve free coffee in the mornings, but would have loved some arrangement in the rooms as well. There are plenty of restaurants around, and the hotel is close to public transit routes.

The location was really good for this trip wanted to go to Koreatown and it's just a fast metro ride away the metro stations are very close by around the corner. Went to Little Tokyo as well and if was just at a walk distance of like 10-15 min walk. There is a lot of homeless around the area.

The rooms are small but efficiently designed. Very close to Pershing square metro stop and grand central market. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Loved being able to control everything from I pad.

Very expensive for what you get. A tiny room, couldn’t even unpack my suitcase. So small. I got claustrophobic in this room, no window to open, no real toilet room. Very very bad experience

A MATRESS WAS PLACED ON TOP OF A BUILT IN TWO DRAWER SET AT THE BOTTOM THE KINGBED WAS VERY LARGE AND MOVED RIGHT UP TO THE WINDOW THERE IS NO SPACE TO GO AROUND TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BED IF TWO PEOPLE SLEEPING THE FIRST PERSON HS TO JUMP ON THE BED AND SCROLL ON TO THE OTHER SIDE THE CLEANERS ARE JUMPING ON THE BED TO MAKE THE BED SO IT IS NOT HYGENIC AT ALL NO WARDROBES FOR PUT YOUR CLOSTHS THE WASH BASIN IS OUTSIDE THE BATHROOM VERY SMALL BASIN AND TOO HIGH NO BODY WASH OR PASTE AND BRUSH IN THE BATHROOM THE ROOM DOORS ARE TOO HEAVY TO OPEN BY SMALL WEAK OR DISABLE PEOPLE THE BREAKFAST WAS NOT FREE THE CHARGE FOR A BREAKFAST IS $25.00 FOR A STANDARD NOT BUFFET OR SPRAY OF ALL OPTIONS AS CONTINENTAL!!! I loved CitizenM. It was clean, hipster-y (in a good way, has a decent bar, and definitely has a European flair. Which I love. The rooms are very small though. It was perfect for me as a single traveler, but might feel a touch snug for a couple.

This was an amazing stay. The room is small but the perfect size for a getaway. The room is automated with an IPad and the common areas are amazing!! Definitely upgrade to the breakfast which is an amazing buffet.

didn’t give water jugs to be stored in room cooler, room cooler was broken and unable to be opened without an object, and was forced to have a full cleaning but duvet cover and sheets weren’t changed they just made the bed and sat up the pillows…

Very modern, clean and nice! I enjoyed my stay very much. The ipad did try to take over a few times with adjusting things in the room, but it was easily corrected. I walked everywhere, but the neighborhood was a little edgy.

If you’re travelling as a young person to a concert or something, this is a good spot if you can get a good deal. I was travelling with my mom and it was not suitable for us. First off, the rooms are the size of a closet, tiny, similar layout to that of a camper van or small RV. The bed is against the wall so one person has to climb over the other if you need to use the bathroom. The bathroom is also just several feet from the bed so 0 privacy. Only a red light in the bathroom which was pretty weird for two ladies travelling together. Plug beside the bed didn’t work, called down and the staff was very polite but kept asking us to reset the plugs and try again. We made the most of it, the staff was very friendly and the place was pretty clean (despite finding a used qtip in my bed) I would absolutely NOT stay here if you’re over 25, however if you’re young and up for a downtown LA adventure at a good price, it’s suitable.

Website room pictures did not match what I found myself in. The smell of body odor inside the room was nauseating. The team at the front desk was attentive and helpful. Restaurant staff seem to focus on their phones or chat with their colleagues.
