Excellent stay

This is a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Great location. Very clean and had all amenities in room which we needed. Great view from the room of the beach and Manhattan skyline. Pool staff were lovely and attentive. My only issues was that the prices of the cocktails were not displayed on the menu so was a bit shocked when I had to pay $18 for one drink. Loved the rubber ducks in the pool!

I was sent downstairs by this security guard Cynthia for a third pool pass. While I was gone, I received a frantic call from my daughter crying and panicked. the guard was screaming at them, claiming it was “her pool” and that she was “their superior.” She then forced them out without allowing them to grab towels, leaving them wet, cold, and humiliated in 50-degree weather. My girls were in tears and terrified. When I confronted the guard, I recorded the interaction. She was aggressive, loud, and unprofessional, with me showing no remorse and escalating .this person should never be in a position of authority, especially around children and I hope this person was fired

Hotel is very average but the only place in the area on beach. We got to the hotel earlier than the checkin time and they had a room available and would not give us the room without a $50.00 fee. The air was not working the second night in our room and it smelt stale.
