Valentines London Getaway

Very convenient location. Nice hotel internally in the lobby. The hotel room is basic, just a bathroom with a shower and a bed with TV. The bed is a small double but an upgrade in quality wouldn't go a miss - the same with the pillows. The view from the first floor window isn't great. Though I did get the cheapest double bed room and for one night, it was fine. I had the cooked breakfast and that was good. Lots of choice. 9am, it was busy. There was a queue. However, the restaurant space is large with lots of tables and we'll run by the staff. I liked the option of renting the umbrellas. £2 for 48-hours. Although it wasn't needed it was still a nice touch. For a valentines trip, I got there for 5pm to drop the luggage, and then returned after midnight. I would stay again but for maximum two nights unless I spruce for a more expensive room. Clean. Well maintained. Good breakfast. Convenient. Location.

Great place to stay

This hotel was perfect for our stay, big comfy room, nice bed linen,modern clean shower room with nice fluffy towels! Just a bit too warm with the window closed against the noise, but a good fault!! The bar is comfortable and spacious with the nicest staff and great coffee. Good snacks too. Helpful reception . Suited us very well, plenty of places to eat nearby. Would definitely recommend it and we would stay again, thanks everyone.

Its a very tired hotel. It is kept clean but worn out carpet in the bedroom isn't great. Some marking on the walls etc. It's also very warm in the bedrooms with no heating on and radiator turned off. No AC, limited ventialtion.

Happy stay

Having arrived early and hoping to store our luggage for the day we were in fact able to book into our room. A big bonus, check in was quickly done. Room was clean and a reasonable size, bathroom all clean. Very little waiting time for lifts. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel Atrium bar was comfortable with great staff and we had a lovely meal too. Breakfast was another bonus all well cooked and efficiently run. All in all a very good stay and two happy customers.

Stayed here for the past three visits to London. Staff are super friendly and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. It’s so handy to get to everything on foot. The hotel has recently had a bit of a refurb as we could tell from our last visit. New carpets and bathrooms Would definitely recommend staying at the President

My stay at this hotel was perfect. The staff was very helpful at all times. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and the food was consistent every day. The rooms were fine, cleaned everyday...the beds were super comfortable. It is situated in a convenient location to use a variety of public transportation. It was a great base for our trip throughout southern England.

Came for a one night stay. Short taxi ride from Kings Cross station. Warm welcome and the room was ready a couple of hours early which was a bonus. Nice room. Compact but everything you need. Very comfy bed and also very quiet at night. Local pub 50 yds away if you didn’t want to use the hotel. Had a very nice steak in the evening at the hotel and the breakfast was exceptional. Would we use it again

Fantastic and staff very helpful. Rooms were a decent size and comfortable and very clean and modern. Breakfast excellent and range of Gluten Free on menu and staff understanding of GF intolerence was a great asset to the hotel.

Enjoyable stay

Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was ready when we arrived. Check in took less than a minute. Room was comfortable but not huge. Clean. Great location. Only downside was our noisy neighbours in the next room who came back at 3.00am and talked loudly for the next 3 hours! But can’t blame the hotel for their inconsiderate behaviour.

Fantastic hotel - will be returning

First time of staying here and I will be returning. The hotel was very clean, room was very clean and modern, very comfortable, bathroom was clean and modern. Reception staff were very warm and welcoming. A perfect stay after a long day of travelling.
