Beautiful hotel with very comfortable beds and sweet smelling throughout. Super convenient to the tube since it’s right next to Victoria Station. We really enjoyed our stay.

I stay at the hotel for 2 weeks. The property is great as well as the staff. There are a lot of food option around. The only thing I don’t like is the hotel is on Victorian Street and it could be very noisy at night. I had hard time to sleep for a few nights and should have asked to switch the room to the other side of hotel.

Not Worth the Price
I researched hotels for weeks trying to find the perfect place to stay for my first trip to London. I go to England regularly with my husband, whose family lives in Yorkshire but this was my first trip to London and I wanted it to be perfect. We arrived early so I wasn't expecting to be able to check in yet, check in was at 3pm so we dropped our bags and were told we would get a phone call when the room was ready. At 2pm we didn't get a call so we headed back and I told the concierge that we would be waiting in the lobby for our room. At 10 min to 3, I went up to check that the room would be ready at 3pm because we had dinner reservations at 5pm. She went and got our room key from a box that I saw someone bring down about 20 minutes before this. They didn't call us, or bother walking over to tell us our room was ready. Not attentive. The room was just okay, it was nothing special and every time the room was cleaned, I felt like it wasn't THAT clean. The convenience of the tube station being connected to the hotel is the only reason I gave 3 stars, that was really nice to be so accessible. I didn't think this hotel was worth the money and I wouldn't stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this elegant and beautiful hotel! The staff was friendly and welcoming and assisted us with temporary luggage storage before our room was ready. The restaurant was lovely with a wonderful atmosphere and various dining options. We enjoyed the live music and the hotel is close to Victoria metro and the hop on hop off city bus tour which was great!

I liked our rooms location in a wing of the property. It was large and spacious. We could look down on the streets of London. Didn't like the bar restaurant combination. We wanted dinner but the bar was so loud we passed and found a quieter place outside the hotel. Staff were helpful. Beautiful building.

What a great hotel. I did plenty of research on where to stay for my first time in London and this did not disappoint. We arrived at 8:30am local time and expected to leave our bags and go find our way around town until the room was ready however at check-in they told us that they had a room ready for us and that we were good to go! That was music to our ears after an 8 1/2 hour flight! This hotel is perfectly located within the downtown Victoria area and close to all types of food, pubs, and all of the transportation. It made getting around London a breeze. I would highly recommend.The CLERMONT and look forward to coming back! Thank you to the staff!

The hotel itself and the rooms were lovely. However, after a long, tiring day we just wanted a quiet drink in the lounge/bar and were very disappointed. The Reunion Bar had been rented out for a private function and “The Soak” was extremely busy with very loud music and a lot of people I assume weren’t staying at the hotel. Having spent £800 pounds for one night’s stay, I wasn’t happy having to sit in the Wetherspoons in Victoria Station. If you don’t require lounge facilities for you stay I would suggest booking a cheaper hotel.

Property was beautiful, but the rooms were very small. We couldn’t even put a suitcase open on the ground. Staff wasn’t very helpful. For the price, we expected better service. Felt like we stayed in a budget hotel in a very nice area with a beautiful lobby.

We really enjoyed our afternoon tea and the staff were still able to accommodate us despite arriving late due to flight issues. Found the hotel itself to be quite beautiful and comfortable. I still can’t get over the free minibar!! The heated bathroom floor and mirror were also very appreciated amenities. Would definitely return for my next London trip.
