Unbelievable stay. No bad things to say! Great service and the perfect location between the airport and central London. Great for tourists and is right across the Gloucester road tube station. It’s also located in a lovely area within Kensington. 10/10.

The hotel is well placed for ease of getting everywhere. We found the "lounge" area very restricting and not particularly comfortable . The thing which really was unacceptable was being told on the second morning that we had to vacate the "lounge" area as it was always closed between 10.30am and about 11.30am for cleaning!! The cleaning person was quite abrupt and told the 7 of us that we could go and sit in the foyer area!! There is just not enough comfortable, relaxing seating for a stay at the Bailey's. I also found the airconditioning unit in the bedroom to be incredibly noisy.

When we go to London we always stay at The Bailey's and they have never disappointed us. Such a great location. Staff is very attentive, and rooms are always clean. In the classic double room, the bathroom's are a little small.

Rooms are spotless and good looking, and fresh towels everyday. I was in a small single room and I wish there were a small side table or shelf next the bed. In the bathroom a shelf for toiletries would have been helpful as well as a hook for used towels.

Fantastic location, good hotel

Stayed here for two nights and was swayed by other reviews. Good things: You absolutely cannot beat the location. Close to the tube station, food and shops, parks, etc. All of the staff that we encountered was very friendly and helpful and the bed was comfortable. The not so good: the property is old and all of the doors are loud. They slam shut and wake you up regularly, you can hear everything out in the hallways. Wear ear plugs. Our window had something wiped on the window and the wall so the room wasn’t cleaned as well as it could have been. There are no curtains on the windows in the bathroom so it’s incredibly bright to walk in there first thing in the morning. Overall mostly small things on the cons list, but the loud closing of doors and regular interruption from that was a real disappointment and took away from the overall experience. Otherwise a cute property that is wonderfully located.
