This was such a lovely stay with wonderful service during breakfast. The only slight issue was the water pressure in the shower and regulating the temperature of water.

Fab hotel just need better mattress

Loved all aspects apart from the fact the double bed had a gap in the mattress topper and was uncomfortable so I had a very disruptive sleep. The staff however and hotel are amazing and was great to have breakfast with city hall in the distance

Wanted to stay since we had a drink in the bar afew years ago. We were staying at a different hotel that over looked it Reception was stunning with lovely staircase to early to check-in so we went in the bar for a coffee. Very disappointed with the worn carpets and furniture very tired and that was where we were having breakfast as dinning room was closed very cramped. Definitely a wow factor with room it was very spacious with porthole and lovely wood furnishings. Staff on Reception very helpful.

Beautiful place

Amazing stay, great team, excellent location - wow wow wow! Will be back for sure! Highly recommend Sunborn Yacht, magnificent views, great transport links and fantastic hotel all round.

Lovely hotel with minor tweaks needed

Stayed for a weekend in London. Location was good until both the DLR and Queen E line were partly closed. Not the hotels fault just a consideration as it’s quite far East. May faults with the hotel are the Wi-Fi strength. We were on floor 1 and from within our rooms the signal was extremely frustrating. Also for two people staying in a double room why only provide one bathroom towel. That makes no sense at all. One elevator was out of order during our stay. This was slightly frustrating as you could literally see the exit through the lift glass if staying on floor 1 but you have to walk through the lift to exit. Prioritising lift fixed or keeping the fire escape door open for all those on Floor 1 would be beneficial until the lift is fixed. Other than that - great views from the breakfast bar.

Great stay, super location.

Fabulous 2 night stay, lovely large room, comfy bed, super coffee machine, only 1 small niggle, -5° outside, when we returned to the hotel late afternoon, the room was a touch cold and took a short while to heat back up. Breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful, slightly disappointed with the choice on offer, given the cost of the stay we were expecting exceptional, we have had better elsewhere however, it was still very good and certainly wouldnt complain. Location good for getting around. Overall great experience and will return again in future. Will def

Things starting to look worse for wear.

Our second visit to the hotel. We have noted in places there is some wear and tear. Such as chairs in the bar arms are showing fraying and sponge. I feel the boat as gorgeous as it is is not what it was. It needs some TLC and a bit of a refurb/restore. Food was also not as good as our visit in the summer. Also rooms were very cold. We were unable to turn heating any further than 22 and on a night when it is -5 outside this doesn’t help.

Lost its charm

This place has lost its appeal. It’s so cool to stay on a yacht but a lot of things make it a bad place to stay. There are two lifts to the yacht, you can only enter via a lift so this means it’s a wait for a lift all of the time. Reception is always busy and breakfast is cramped. Our family room was ok, but they put us next to the main lift and the noise was annoying for our two young boys who struggled to sleep. They put out a sofa bed for them, which was cramped and uncomfortable. What’s odd, hotels have two pillows normally, they took two pillows from the main bed to put with the sofa bed. So none of us slept well. We won’t be back unfortunately.
