Hotel is looking very tired. Lost of damage in the room. Plug sockets smashed and unusable, painting could do with refresh. Food not great, ive had better from a takeaway. Staff great and attentive but facilities not so good.

Had a wonderful time at Stamford Bridge Hotel. booked to see a Chelsea game but it was conveniently located for other London sightseeing. Close to tube station. Staff was super helpful when we had to extend our stay due to weather back home. Food was great and lots of options at the hotel and also nearby neighborhood.

Service on arrival was friendly. When checking out, I had forgotten the room number and was met with an eye roll from the man behind the counter. Not sure why as he managed to find the booking within seconds, from my name, and there was no one else waiting. Room was clean but the bathroom looked shabby and needs updating. Sofa bed was incredible uncomfortable and is only suitable for very young children. Be aware that the car park is run by a separate company, who charge £36 per 24hrs

Fine for the low price - could be better

The hotel is in a great location, close to Chelsea harbour and of course the football ground which I imagine is great for supporters. The rooms are a little tired, especially the bathrooms, and there was a lot of dust too. The lobby areas also had broken and old furniture. It just needs some TLC. The beds were ok, clean at least! And most of the staff were very friendly. Don’t bother with food. We had room service as we were tired but the quality is poor and not value for money.

The rooms were awful. No outlets within 10 feet of the beds. I use a medical device (CPAP) for sleep and was not able to plug it in. Absolutely the worst room set up of any hotels I've stayed in. The hotel should be sued for not providing a set up for people with medical needs.

Stamford Bridge standards slip !!!

Stayed here on 3 occasions now, but won't again I'm afraid. Since changing from Millennium Copthorne to The Stamford Bridge, it has dropped it's standards. And although at reception we were told we had a " complimentary upgrade", room 1412 was at the rear of the hotel, overlooking railway lines ( if you could see them through the filthy windows), the room size was good, and bathroom good as well, but "tired". On returning to our room the first full day there, the housekeeping had not been carried out, no replenishment of tea/coffee/ milk etc, no toilet rolls. When we called reception, we were told we had to REQUEST housekeeping, nothing about this was mentioned when we checked in. Great location, but hampered by a drop in standards and not informed fully by staff on arrival. Looking for somewhere else in London for May 25, ( our next visit) as this is no longer as nice as it was.

Very very dirty

2nd time at this hotel. First time back in 2014 and we changed room then cause it was incredible bad and basic. This time around we changed room 3 times!!! First time it stank like meat in the room. It looks as if they only change the beds and towels. There is dust, dirt and sticky tables. Light fittings hang loose in the walls. We have seen three rooms third time and all was the same. Old dried in milk from when guests has made coffee on the desk. Just disgusting. We stayed the night cause we didn’t have any other options being with our kids and had a busy day out. But would not recommend.
