Not bad but could be better

We already knew there were renovations going on before arrival and this was handled really well! The service from staff was brilliant and they were really quick and efficient. We had one of the more recently renovated rooms and it was a good size for our needs with a great shower room. However, the bed was really small and uncomfortable. It moved when you moved and was wedged between 2 marble shelves which meant knocked stuff off in night and smacked head on it. Only got 1 pillow, which was not enough. There were alot of big groups in hotel and in 1st night there were screaming teenage girls running up and down the corridor at midnight. The lifts are your only real option when on 8th floor but they seemed to be out of sync so wait ages to then br crowded in. However overall for price I would rate this hotel and would stay again as cannot beat location for the cost

Ideal location for theatres

Easy check-in and very friendly staff. Rooms are basic , but clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend for a budget stay in theatre land.

Having stayed here 5 times in the past 12 months this stay has been very disappointing. No sleep due to noise, the new bed frames squeak at every slight movement. The check in, was a problem granted due to a mistake on our behalf but the lady in charge was very rude and very unhelpful. Wifi signal was very poor. Thecwhole experience as put our whole party off staying again which is ashame

Good location for all the city sights like British Museum, theatres. Room was spotlessly clean and had hairdryer and the bed was ok. plenty of hanging space and storage. Temperature was just right. Shower was a bit lukewarm and I was unable to change the temperature of the water. Didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment on that.
