We stayed here as we were going to see a show at Dominion Theatre and it was an excellent location. We stayed in a newly refurbished room and it was everything we needed. Room was modern, don’t get me wrong slightly on the small side but absolutely workable and we were out constantly so we were more than happy with the room for our stay and price point was fair. Loved that the room was modern. Really nice facilities. Will be staying again for our next show. Location made it so easy to go and do lots of other things in London. Great experience. The only downfall for us was were the lifts - we were on the 9th floor but the lifts on the way down stopped at every floor and people kept trying to ram themselves into this small lift - not much the hotel can do there in terms of people thinking it’s appropriate to keep trying to get into a small space. We also tried the bar/ restaurant connected and food was fine but the chicken Goujons were frozen so didn’t enjoy them as quality felt low. Really don’t want any of that to take away from our enjoyment of staying here just want to give an honest review. Will absolutely be back!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The location was great and super close to lots of shopping and food options! Everything was exactly as described. My only complaint is that they had two elevators out of four under maintenance so wait time for the elevator was long during busier times of day.
You will have to wait for at least 20 mins for the elevator to get to you on busy hours. Rooms are tiny but clean. Staff are helpful but they cant do much..Conference rooms are the worst I ve ever seen!
We had a one night stay at the St Giles Hotel. We chose this hotel primarily because of it's location, just off Tottenham Court Road. We chose a 'signature' double room. Whilst the room was still rather cosy, it was well kitted out with tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. I would think that the room had recently been refurbished since the decoration was all clean and fresh. The en suite was very stylishly decorated and the shower powerful with plenty of hot water. The room was exceptionally clean.
We had a good breakfast at the hotel. Ali, one of the chefs, was particularly helpful. He was kind enough to make me a single portion of porridge with almond milk, since i cannot have dairy. Really friendly chap and we had a good conversation about nutrition too.
All in all a very good stay at the St Giles and will be very happy to stay here again.
We selected the st giles due to it its great location and accses to london. We were happy with the room which was small and basic but clean, tidy and well styled. And was mor than enough as a base to explore london. Tue breakfast was of good quality, and the staff were very freindly and attentive. The concierge service was a good addition, with the ability to leave bags and explore more on our final day before heading off.
Have had a great stay at St Giles, may have been compact, however clean and convenient for the sights … All staff courteous and friendly, willing to help when approached…
Such a comfortable bed with a choice of pillows …
Had an amazing room overlooking Tottenham Court Road and the BT Tower …
Not the quietest… however it is a main road and not an issue for me, it is what it is …. please don’t complain, just take earplugs …
My only complaint although prob just a preference…. What’s with the tiny tea cups??? Would much prefer a good sized cup / mug …
Thank you and would love to cone back xXx
Very economical and quite convenient for access to attractions!

Very poor service
Very unhappy with St Giles Hotel I have stayed there a number of times. I booked the hotel (again) as I am in London every week and a week earlier from my booking realised I needed to change the date of my stay. I asked for the room to be moved to the following week but the hotel or Hotels.com refused a refund or credit. Very poor service
Room was small but okay and functional for a 2 night stay. A window in the bathroom or an extractor fan that switches on with the light would be a bonus.
