Despite a very busy reception due to a flight cancelling and passengers all being moved to the Sofitel, the staff got us checked in really quickly. My third stay and will definitely be back.

I didn't like that I was upsold a better room plus breakfast for GBP80, but when I checked out, the document I had signed for this had been altered to a charge of GBP85. I know I didn't mishear the receptionist because when I checked in he put a hold on my CC for 80, not 85.

Perfect hotel if you want to stay near the airport

The stay was exceptional. My only concern is that I requested a couple of small items that were never brought. One of the items was a fork that I asked for at the front desk to eat the salad I purchased for dinner after a long flight... and also called room service after 30 minutes of waiting to be told someone would bring it up but never did. I ate my salad with my fingers.

Not a Sofitel….
Asked for a room away from elevators, was given one right next to them. Bed comfy. New linen and pillows. But STILL no power for charging next to beds. Main lights switches more or less inoperable. Checked in at 19:15 and told the lounge (which I paid more for obviously) closes at 20:00. Won’t do that again.
