Nice hotel, great venue
The stay at the hotel was good. It started with us dropping our bags off in the morning (£3 per bag) and we only returned at 9pm. It was very easy to check in and the room was basic but lovely. The only negative things we have about the room is the very bright green light on the ceiling near the door (it seemed unnecessarily bright) and no table or ledge to place items on one side of the bed. Irritating at a time when everyone needs to charge their devices at night. The staff were very welcoming and helpful in us finding our room. The breakfast the following morning was very tasty.

Convenient at a price
Small basement room with no windows. Smell of drains in the small bathroom. Bed was comfortable and good bedding. Staff were friendly and obviously had had lots of questions about the “cells” in the basement. Should be made clearer in the booking that there “cheap” rooms are windowless in the basement.

Clean, new but quite austere (plain, like no art on walls, etc). The location is wonderful though, being 4-5 blocks to Kings Cross and international St Pancras trains.

Compact and Comfortable
Whilst rooms are compact, they are modern, clean and very comfortable. Location is good for Kings Cross/St Pancras. Staff are excellent.

OK but would not return
Room very small but modern and clean. Bed was far too small for 2 adults. Quite noisy from outside traffic but that’s London. Biggest gripe was being charged £3 per case and even small back packs for storage. No tea or coffee facility in the room but could buy from a machine for £2.50 in reception. Felt like a rip off.

Convenient location, within walking distance to St Pancras station. Room had everything I needed, enough space for a solo traveller. There was some road noise and construction outside but that didn’t really bother me as I was only there for one night. I was surprised to have to pay for luggage storage before check in (however I’m unsure if this is the standard in the UK). Good place to stay if you have an early morning Eurostar departure.
