This hotel has sadly declined over the years. As a family, we’ve stayed here many times, but our recent visit will be our last.
The room rates are held comparatively high, but the quality provided is sub standard, giving us poor value.
We politely raised concern at front desk noting previous guests hair left in bathroom, plus again a previous guests lanyard and name tag left under sink, which signals no or poor floor cleaning by housekeeping.
The room was sold as suitable for four guests, but the sofa bed was unusable, with a significant depression in the centre, so the entire night was spent trying not to roll.
Breakfast was disgusting. Poor quality items, cold temperature, little to no service buffet style, but again, charged at comparatively high prices.
I stay in hotels every week for my work, so I am fortunate to recognise ‘typical’ standards. I also rarely take time to write reviews or complain, but this hotel is poor value and I’d suggest steering clear.
The hotel didn’t bother to follow up with us and address their issues. Vote with your feet and give your business to a hotel that cares and is trying to provide quality to their quests.
