The staff at reception were polite. The hotel looked nice. They allowed me to check in early and everything seemed fine. I left and later that evening when I returned the ground floor smelled like a sewer. When I got to me room, the bathroom smelled the same. I closed the door and went to bed. The next morning the smell was less pronounced but again in the evening, the smell was stronger. In addition to that, the bedding had black stains on them which made me less enthused about sleeping on them.

Room was quite basic with a small window, no closet, no mini fridge. The self checkin via kiosque limited anything unique / personal about this hotel. Online food dining system / menu for room service only worked the first few hours and was offline the rest of the entire 2 night stay (including breakfast and dinner times). Shower door didn’t close properly due to misaligned installation.

The stay started off being put in an incorrect type of room which, upon request, was amended quite quickly. The room was reasonably clean, but things like the kettle, cups, some bits in the bathroom didn't look clean. On the whole the hotel was good, ideal location for what we needed and I would say pricing was at the top end, but just about right.
