This hotel is conveniently located near the Tower Hill tube station, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. It was a lovely, clean and bright room of ample size and it was a great place to stay, we enjoyed it!

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Having stayed previously at various hotels in London that did not meet my expectations, this place made up for it. Within a short walk to the tube and busses. The hotel smelled amazing and the toiletries also made the experience more enjoyable. Soft sheets and towels as well. There were also USB ports which helped to avoid the need for travel adapters. I would absolutely come bsck!

The room at Leonardo by Tower Bridge was nice but small for a family of four. My husband had stayed there previously for work and had a larger room so we were surprised by this. One of the two elevators wasn't working the entire time we were there and getting up and down from the 12th floor took quite a while each time. It was quite inconvenient. We'd paid for the night before we landed so we could get to our room right off and rest, but there was slight confusion about this when we arrived, despite having messaged them to confirm we'd be arriving the following morning and they confirmed receipt. The breakfast each morning was great with a lot of variety. The hotel is in a good location near the Tower of London and not far from a tube stop. For a family of four with two teenagers, if we'd realized not all the rooms were the size my husband stayed in previously we would have stayed elsewhere, though. Lastly, we have Expedia VIP gold status and it didn't really offer us any perks at this hotel.

35 birthday
I had a wonderful 35th birthday at the tower bridge location. It’s the 3rd time I’ve stayed at this location and the services and facilities are outstanding. I was welcomes by one of your lovely colleagues named Melinda, who was very professional and did a quick check to see if the room was ready so me and my partner could go up. We got to talking and I informed her it was my birthday and I was here having a relaxing stay and to make full use of the spa facilities. To my surprise the next day I get a knock on the door and it’s Melina with a lovely little cupcake that said happy birthday on it and a card wishing me a happy birthday with a lovely message. Also a bottle of very delicious Merlot as well as two free drinks tickets. Honestly it bought a tear to my eye as I was not expecting it at all. It’s the small gestures that matter in life. Overall I had a wonderful stay and will be back again very soon.

My check in was not the greatest. I had called the day before and I knew the check in was 3pm but I was told if I come in at 1pm my room should be ready to check in. So on the day I went to check in at 1pm but was told my room was not ready and to come back at 2pm. So my niece's and I went to the bar area and brought some drinks and food to kill abit of lunch. At 2.40pm I went to reception to check in but the lady who saw me at 1pm was not there. I was told the room was not ready, I got abit annoyed as I was told to come back at 2pm and the room would be ready. I asked for the manager. The manager came out and asked what the issue was, so I told him. He said, as I requested something special for the room, it will be ready at 3pm. I said I requested the special requirement 3 weeks ago via email. I said the lack of communication with your staff to customers is not right! The manager could see I was getting annoyed so he called someone to see if the room ready. He then said wait here 5mins and the room will be ready. I have stayed at other of your sites but never had a problem! I actually wanted to come early and use the facilities but was told I could not as we was not checked in. I have stayed in many hotels including Leonard Hotels and never heard of such thing! I was very very disappointed with the whole service! And when I did check into my room, there was cake and chocolates with a card but nothing mentioning about congratulations to my niece's and the weekend.

Upon arrival I was misgendered multiple times. I had requested speciality to make my birthday and never was able to provide. The room I was put in was dirty and had brown stains on the floor and walls and I requested for them to clean never happened. Staff were rude everytime we interacted. Spa is not worth it. Pool not clean. I booked a king bed and it was two twin beds put together and just a top sheet. I did not feel safe or my moneys worth of the price I paid. I left my reservation early because of all of this and the manager tried to say they could move me after I requested the move twice and was denied. I would never book this place or recommend it.

I got given a room that smelled weird, had a smelly bath rain and dirty towels so i called reception to complain and was moved rooms. Overall I enjoy staying here, I have stayed at the London City branch which is less modern and nice compared to Tower Bridge, so will always pick Tower Bridge.

Whilst the overall stay was *ok* there were a few things that dampened the stay. Firstly, we left bags before check in was possible, and came back. When we checked in we had to wait another 15 minutes for the concierge to come back to the desk, - coming from the luggage room and putting his phone away at the same time. When we checked in, we weren’t told where breakfast was, or what time. Nor were any of the facilities explained to us. As we ventured out for the evening we left the luggage and went, arrived back at the hotel at 11pm or so, we found the duvet to have quite a few suspicious stains on the cover. General cleanliness of the room was low, with a lot of dust and even an unflushed toilet.. Breakfast was nice, but very pricey for what you get in the area (I stayed local just the week before and breakfast was 1/2 the price in a similar level of establishment) When we checked out, I brought the room cleanliness up and was told I’d receive contact from a manager. Sadly this has not happened either.
