Hotel is trying to be trendy but is low quality. Staff at front desk was very nice. Checkin was done on phone while standing in front of a staff. Parking is far from hotel. No amenities. No room service. Shower and floor was old. Bed and linens not hotel quality. Neighborhood is bad. No deadbolt or chain on door.looked like it could have been a fancy dorm room. You can’t put a chandelier and paint the walls purple and present as a boutique hotel.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Hotel Metro, very different experience than we've had at other hotels, especially with the closeness to shopping and food options we had downtown (majority of our activities were all within walking distance). Really liked the layout with the separate tub and shower in the room. Everything was comfortable and felt very safe and secure. Even the aromatherapy in the hallways was a nice touch. Rooms were quiet, too, sometimes we could hear people in the hallway, but nothing during evening hours or that would wake us up too early, so never bothered us. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well. Certainly recommended for a future visit to London, Ontario!

I was shocked that the shower and tub were in the main bedroom. Since this was a first overnight for us I would liked to have known that prior to checking in. Turned out not to be an issue after all but was an unwelcome surprise upon arrival.
