The Sandman is an older hotel but provides a clean and comfortable stay. The only thing I didn’t like was the firmness of the pillows. They should offer a variety of pillow options.

I really had no idea how BAD this place would be! Expedia led me astray by suggesting this horrible and decrepit hotel. Crackheads outside the lobby. Piss smell throughout the room and property in general. Staff was as nice as could be, but they don't have much to work with. DO NOT STAY HERE! Stay out of downtown unless you are at a festival with plenty of security!

Curtains and carpet are old, ripped, looks dirty . Impossible to walk barefoot on the carpet Bedding is good at least . Staff is nice too. City parking in front of the hotel but too many homeless surrounded the building so Had to pay the inside parking to secure my car …

Great location for Bud gardens!
Hotel was fine. Sandman has just taken it over and is improving. Only complaint about room is that the carpet needs to be replaced. Tons of stains and doesn’t look great. Unfortunately the hotel is located in downtown London where there is a lot of homelessness and many people were openly doing hard drugs.

The property is right beside a very large homeless encampment. There were probably 20-30 homeless people roaming around the hotel property. We saw individuals shooting up drugs, fighting, screaming, even yelling at us as we walked past them to get our Uber. One of the elevators was not working which only left one elevator working to use, and the stairs are not able to be accessed from the lobby. The parking was easy, but not secure. We watched multiple homeless people walk into the garage and in and around the cars. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk they brushed me off and said they do walks down there every couple hours… but then didn’t go and do anything at all. Overall I would recommend you stay FAR AWAY from this hotel!!

We stayed at the sandman on the friday night of the rock the park performances. I got the feeling they had been busy and the rooms were not cleaned to usual standard, room smelt, stains on carpet, no water botlles in room.

Area around is terrible! Came to my car to find two Homeless people Sleeping next to it after they urinated behind it. No safety precautions at front or in parking area. Suite said closing French doors and got in room doors removed from bedroom. Please do not stay here.

The bed was Squeeky... and the pillows were like slerpung on over flated balloons , not a good sleep . Upon arrival . Lots of homeless people around ... did not feel real comfortable , with parking my vehicle there.
