Surprised Hilton's standards are so low
The first room we were given smelled very bad, so we had to ask for a different as one. The chairs, tables, bath and carpets are outdated - not a pleasant stay. Air conditioning broke down on our last night. The hotel looks up-to-date in the lobby but as soon as you walk up to the floor where the rooms are it looks like from nineties. Would choose to stay somewhere else for the same price.

Good sized hotel on Kensington high St. Easy to find. Left our bags early and had lunch. Checked in late afternoon - pretty straight forward - although more admin than normal including photo id's for UK citizens (to stop ladies of the night - my wife was most put out!). Decent room - very average - high st view. Hard beds unfortunately and the tiny bath screen the only negatives.

Stayed for an event in London. Staff were amazing and couldn't have been more helpful. Great location for Kensington and the surrounding area. Lots to do and see.

The hotel is nice and the staff are friendly. The room 636 was in need of an update, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. A travel cot was provided for our baby as requested but it came without a mattress and was hard so we didn’t manage to use it. Overall though it was a nice stay in a large room in a good location. Probably not as family friendly as I would have liked but we managed.

The first room we’ve got was dirty and we couldn’t turn down the heating or open a window. They solved it by getting us an other room which was really friendly. This room was slightly cleaner and you could open a window. And we’ve got a free breakfast very kind. It is just that the hotel is very dated so the staff can’t do anything about it. And it is really far from any tube station ( both 30 min walk)

Great location but not the most comfy
Great location, beds and pillows not the most comfortable. We had room at the back so had all the aircon fans for the building and deliveries to listen to most of the night. Staff were great especially Francesca who looked after us at breakfast. Extremely helpful and professional.

The hotel was good, the check in process was good and any staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. What I didn’t like was discovering we were out in a room with an adjoining door to the next room - this meant we could hear quite a bit from their room, and at times they were noisy - they got up before we did, and we were conscious that they went to bed earlier than us. The bed wasn’t brilliant, I felt it was quite lumpy and uneven, and it also creaked and made noises when someone sat on the bed, never mind trying to get under the covers. The only other thing I had issue with was the lack of power points in the room. I had to unplug an alarm clock to be able to plug in the kettle, and there weren’t sockets beside the bed at all. It might seem small but that means phones are on charge across the room, and I didn’t find it very convenient. Actually, no biscuits with the tea/coffee - weird!

Staff was nice. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Hotel is a little dated. Location is nice - lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Train station is about a 15 minute walk, but bus stops are minutes from the hotel. Beautiful Holland Park within walking distance.

The hotel is located on Kensington High Street. Transport links are good; the number 9 bus stops outside and follows a route past Hyde park and towards the West End. Hotel is clean and the staff are welcoming. Breakfast is fantastic! Only complaint was the unrelenting drone from a generator that ran through the night and could be heard in our room on the 5th floor. Would stay there again, but would check room noise on arrival and change if necessary.

Great location and easy to get to for working at Olympia Exhibtion centre, staff were friendly at reception and great service at the hotel bar (SOCIETY) handy there is a Costa attached. unfortunately the room was very disappointing, it was outdated, needed a deep clean (curtains and chairs) the bed was very hard and uncomfortable and I had an issue being able to control the air con in the room which had a mind of its own (541) would choose to stay at High Street Kensington for future Olympia events, much more shops and restaurants and better hotel options plus closer to the tube station.

Brilliant hotel with friendly staff who were only too happy to help with any queries or questions we had. Breakfast delightful. With breakfast delacies from over the world. Had a free upgrade to a refurbished room which was comfortable and clean. Only issue is the shower head was faulty and sprayed water from the connector.
