Great stay, the customer service needs improvement

Overall, a pleasant stay with clean rooms and a great location. However, I was disappointed by the attitude of one of the front desk staff. This issue kept it from being a perfect experience but it’s still a solid choice.

The staff did an excellent job of welcoming us and attending to our needs. They offered help even before we asked for it. The breakfast was excellent The location only two blocks from the Earls Court tube. Good pubs in a few blocks distance a Marks & Spencer mini store half a block away. Wine shop also a half block. Starbucks just around the corner. Competitive fare. The elevator was very small not sure a wheelchair could get in and if even if it did, there are still stairs to negotiate.

Basic and cheap

The room was small but the shower was tiny .converstions and TV sound from adjacent rooms was audible. Most importantly the lift did not go up to the rooms on the top floor and there was no assistance in carrying my bags up and down a flight of stairs. On the plus side the breakfast was good and the location across from a tube stop was great. However at this price I did not expect anything more than a basic room and for that the hotel delivered.

Great location and value

Great location in Earls Court very close to the tube. Friendly staff. Great value, includes a continental breakfast. Room was small but modern. Weird thing though the wall from the bathroom to the bedroom was made of glass, which offered limited privacy when using the toilet. No idea why they designed it that way. Not sure if all the rooms are like that.

Very pleasant stay. It can be touch and go with London hotels. These rooms are bigger than other London hotels I’ve stayed in. Very clean and safe. Conveniently located down a quiet street but 5 minute walk to tube,

We stayed one evening in this lovely hotel. All the staff were very friendly & helpful particularly Colleen who went out of her way & allowed us to check in early. The reception is beautiful & they provide complimentary fruit tea, biscuits & mints. The room was exactly as in the photos & very clean. Its very only 5 mins. walk from the tube. We really enjoyed our stay.

Little gem

Henley House is a lovely little hotel very close to Earles Court tubes station. The rooms are small but well equipped. Shower is on the small side but had plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good. I was in a room at the front of the hotel. Usually in London this means loads of street noise. This hotel is on a quiet street so didn't suffer from that issue. Overall this is a great place to stay for a trip to central London.

Friendly staff, fun area, comfortable bed. My husband and I had to make last minute reservations for one night and this turned out to be a good find. Small room, like many in the UK and Europe, but very comfortable.

Liked the friendly staff, cleanliness and breakfast. The room and the shower were small. The TV had only 5 channels. Overall is a good place to stay and is near to a tube station, general store, pharmacy and many places to eat. I would stay here again and recommend others to stay here as well.

The hotel was a lovely, clean property. The room was spacious and comfortable with decent blinds and curtains, and comfortable beds. It felt like everything was well looked after or new. My only downsides were that our television wouldn't pick up any channels and there was only one plug socket which was not by the bed. Wifi, however, was excellent. I would certainly stay here again.
