Beautiful Hotel well situated in London. Walking distance to underground station, tons of restaurants and cafes near by. Room was big and comfy with a nice view. Nice lobby where you can have some tea or drinks. Will def stay again next time.

A true Gem

Great little gem in an easy access neighborhood. Got a single bed room - just what Inwanted and needed. Old world charm and comfort. Friendly staff.

This hotel is a real gem! Perfect for transport links, so much around the area like restaurants and bars. Close to the royal Albert hall and Kensington gardens. All the staff were so friendly and polite and our room was lovely. We were in room 314 which was right opposite the lift so it was a little noisy but it was absolutely fine as we aren’t light sleepers! We were able to leave our bags there free of charge before our room was ready so we could go out to explore too which was a real plus too. Breakfast was a little pricy for us so we opted for a local cafe. I would definitely stay here again!

Gem Strathmore is a definite Gem. All the staff were welcoming and genuinely helpful. Loved the British feel of this hotel. Much less crowded then other areas of London and a wonderful location. Rooms are small but more than adequate. Would stay here again and again

My experience at Strathmore Hotel

I was in possibly the smallest room available. I was adequate for my stay. However the room didnt feel warm. The bathroom is very small. When I was using the loo it was uncomfortable as my leg was pressed right up to the sink. The cubicle was a tight squeeze too. However I enjoyed breakfast and the service good.

I’d like to recommend a supervisor named Ginger that made the stay very welcoming. She is an engaged employee providing the highest customer service. Next time I’m in from the US I will be coming back to the Strathmore because of her.

Room was a bit small and cramped but OK for just sleeping in. Nice bar with reasonably priced drinks and dining room with good Continental breakfast. handy for tube links with Gloucester Road station 5 mins walk and the Museums along with Royal Albert hall are also very easily walkable.

Warm, comfortable but basic and tired

Good price and get what you pay for - small room, high window/no view, tired building and diddy ancient lift. But warm and comfortable, with free reliable WiFi. Room not serviced on second day but I guess we got up rather late; staff could have offered though when I left the bin outside. Staff not in general engaging or interested. No alcohol free beer option in bar.
