Well situated, poor quality food.
Hotel was really convenient for tube and Royal Albert Hall and nearby attractions. Room was very good and well equipped. Staff were very helpful and treated us well. Unfortunately the cost of the food was unreasonably high and of poor quality. We were very disappointed. Lets down what was potentially a great hotel.

Good location. Only annoying thing is that everytime I stay here they put something different in the room. One time we got water bottles, the next we got no water. Another time we got bathrobes and slippers and the other time we didn't.

Looked fabulous from the outside. In need of refurbishment in the rooms. Bedroom was spacious but our double bed was two singles pushed together whilst the bed(s) were large the mattress was not the best. Prefer a shower than a bath with shower but the towels were big and fluffy. We didn’t use any facilities in the hotel. Stayed for two nights and on Saturday morning has an email to ask when we were checking out on Sunday which made me feel pressure I just ignored it. Location great if you just want Kensington and near a tube station. For what I wanted to do in London for ease I wish I had stayed near a more main line tube station.

This is the time where I should have read the reviews instead of relying on the photos. The hotel is in a prime location of Kensington. The hotel lobby and staff was nice but when you walk in the room, completely different story! The hotel room needs a renovation (paint, update the carpet/tile, get new pictures for rooms, bathroom needs ventilation). The bathroom was disgusting. I had to get cleaning supplies because it was disgusting. The towel warmer was not working. No ventilations in the bathroom. I got disposable bedding to be on the safe side. It's right by a train station so you hear the trains all through the night (not good if you are a light sleeper). I had to leave early because I couldn't stay another night.

Great Hotel, great price!
we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this hotel. I’d booked 1 night as we went to a concert at the royal Albert hall. It was cheap for London and is very clean and modern with lovely friendly staff. It’s also very close the South Kensington tube station. Will definitely stay again!

Good location
Good location to get about in London . A few minutes walk from underground. Got a free room upgrade which was a bonus . Room was good value, clean and everything we needed. Negative, room overlooked train lines and can hear trains late into the night and early morning. Could put up with that as only a two night stay.

Good location Great staff
The hotel is conventionally located for getting around London. Walkable food options and sights. Hotel lobby is very nice but the rooms are small and need updating. The staff if wonderful friendly and knowledgeable. Skip their breakfast and walk to one of the local options.

Kensington in Autumn
Excellent location and very good overall Standard room not luxurious but perfectly adequate and excellent value for money given the location of the hotel. Was surprised to find towels that had not been used changed - maybe ask guests if they need clean towels rather than assume. Would also have preferred to see refillable shampoo/body wash containers rather than small single use plastic bottles used.
