Room was fine, as advertised. But the water in the bathroom tasted and smelled like dirt. The bottled water seemed to be filled with tap water as it tasted the same. Couldn't drink either water. Also the door to the room didn't seal very well, and you could clearly hear every noise and conversation in the hallway. I'm sure that meant that others could hear anything I did or said in the room, too. Overall the hotel was quiet, but I don't know if I had immediate neighbors or not. It's fine for a pre-flight stay but if you can stay off the airport property I'd prefer that next time.
Not too many frills, rooms are small, bathroom has a half glass half nothing situation (so expect a little water splashing outside), no closet. Despite all that, it seemed clean and was perfect for night’s rest to get through a 12 hour layover. If you just need a place to rest your head and recharge your electronics while waiting for your next flight, this is a good hotel.
For access to Heathrow Terminal 3 arrivals and departures, this hotel cannot be beaten. Both departures and arrivals can be accessed by a level walk from the hotel lift.
There is a nice little lounge on level 2 where you can get tea and coffee and (unlike most of the rest of the property) the room has outside light.
If you have an early flight from Terminal 3, this is the most convenient hotel since it is physically part of the the T3 building. T2, meanwhile is a 15 to 20 minute walk.
I clearly didn't read the fine print - I didn't realise that the rooms do not have windows. I'm claustrophobic. After meeting with the on site manager, he worked with me and gave me a larger room that I could 'breathe' in. Thank you! It made a huge a difference, as chances are, I would have had to have changed to another hotel if they weren't so accommodating. Thank you again.
This hotel was a very nice surprise although it was quite far from any where to eat. We ended up buying food in the M&S food shop instead of venturing too far.
Initial room had a HVAC problem, resolved by staff who were helpful, professional and sympathetic. For a one-night stay this is a well thought out hotel that understands the needs of guests.
