Easter at War Horse 👍

Prestige Hotel in a premier position as we were going to the Empire Theatre ! Room was fairly small but a king size bed and really nice shower/toilet en-suite ! My partner said she would have preferred if the dressing table had a mirror instead of having to use the bathroom mirror there was however a full length mirror in the room ! There isn’t any actual parking at the hotel but St John’s car park is very close by and only £6 per day ! I have one complaint! When I booked there was a promotion offering a free drink per person and as I paid in full over a month before my stay I expected this to be honoured ! However they apparently discontinued this before our stay so we didn’t receive this promotion!

Another great stay

Easy to check in, online then a quick check in at reception. Very close to Lime St so saves on taxis or walks, located well for bars, places to eat and shopping. Room was good, lovely view of St Georges Hall. We love the grand staircase area too

Stay in Liverpool was great.

Stay was ok except when we went out the next day someone been in our room & took toilet roll from us..so we only had one. My dad the other room he had sweeteners by his coffee & they was gone..so I had to go & get more as my dad is aided with sticks. Do you think people who drink tea/coffee don’t have sugar or sweeteners? As there was none in the rooms I took my own tea & sugar as I have decaf tea.

City Break

As fairly experienced travellers in our Eighties, we were surprised to find no concierge to help people carry luggage up and down the stairs from street level to hotel lobby. And those steps have no rail either . There is , we eventually noticed, a lift contraption at another entrance but it is unclear how to operate it. Speaking of ease , the layout of a ‘standard’ room is such that space between the desk chair ( almost unmoveable ) and the end of the bed is very constricted. The hotel in general, however, is very clean.
