We called about the pool and were assured it worked. There was water, but it was cloudy and smelled bad. The exercise room had the heater on even though it was summer, and there were no towels available. The internet kept disconnecting and running out of data. The rooms were stocked with two towels, despite occupancy being listed as 6. When you pulled out the sleeper sofa you couldn't get to the bathroom.

Our room had so many issues! The lock was barely working. It looked like someone had broken into it! The AC grill was broken and made loud knocking noises all night. There was only 1 towel. We weren't even greeted by the front desk personnel! The "free" breakfast had 0 juice. No bagels left with1 hour of serving time left. Just a really bad place to stay!

I took kids to pool and couldn’t figure out how splash pad worked. Ask front desk who said it was broken and there was white stuff floating on surface of water in pool. There were 4 of us in room and only 2 sets of towels. Went to get more and they only had one set since that’s all that was available. Then a/c wasn’t working in room and had to get a different room and there were no more handicapped rooms available had to get regular room. In morning there was no syrup available for waffles. I emailed manager and all she said is “It’s on our website about splash pad. If you leave I will refund you.” I told her I booked on Hotels.com and it doesn’t say so on there to which she replied I’ll have to change that. Terrible customer service and didn’t apologize for any inconvenience or offer a discount

Our stay was adequate, but disappointing. The hotel felt a bit seedy. As you check in, there is a sign warning away locals from swimming in their pool. The pool was so disgusting that my son decided not to swim after all. (You couldn’t see the bottom, it was so cloudy.) There were signs taped everywhere telling you not to smoke weed, which is a little jarring. And the walls were paper thin, so we could hear our neighbors TV blaring all night. Understandable though, since you had to have the AC fan at maximum decibel level to cool the room. I do not recommend this place.

There were a few positives - the breakfast was decent, the showerhead was brand new and very nice, the location is convenient to local amenities. Shares a driveway with the grocery store and some decent food options, and a 15 minute drive from mountain hiking. But beware - if you are coming for the neat splash pad and pool - the splash pad doesn't work, and the pool has a layer of scum coating it. Additionally if you are at all sensitive to smells; you do NOT want to stay here. Whatever cleaners they use are extremely potent (to put it nicely). I am not one to worry overly about smells/toxins, but our whole family was overwhelmed by the chemical smell as soon as we opened the door to the room and it did not improve. As we left the next morning we noticed the smell emanating from the areas being cleaned as we walked out so I can only assume it is the cleaners they're using. Unfortunately, despite the strong chemicals; the room was not particularly clean. The floors were sticky, the sheets stained, the curtains torn. Honestly not great, but it was a decent price for a nights sleep. And the pillows were delightfully comfy.

I booked my stay for my family of 5. I only had 2 towels and no bedding for the pullout couch. Had to go to the front desk to get the stuff. Also beyond control of the company the people above us was stomping around until at least 2 a m.
