Perfect location!

Can't say enough about the wonderful staff and comfortable room. The hotel was spotless and staff amazingly helpful. Also the location!!! Right in the middle of where you want to be. Stores, restaurants etc... also the breakfast buffet was a great deal. We won't stay anywhere else in Lisbon.

The historical room on the top floor was unique and had a beautiful view of the city. It looked clean but felt a bit rundown, with stains on the curtains and industrial carpet. Despite excellent windows, the music from somewhere on the street (a bar next door maybe?) was so amplified it seemed to be inside my room, and the street noise (midnight garbage collection) was pretty loud. The lobby smelled like sewage. Location is fantastic and it is an acceptable hotel.

"I absolutely love the location! It's conveniently close to the lift and Rua do Carmo, where you can experience the best of the Christmas light displays. Plus, being near Praça do Comércio, home to the second-largest Christmas tree in the world, makes it even more magical. The place itself is charming and has a historic appeal—it’s an old building, but it perfectly suits its purpose and adds character. Overall, the location is unbeatable, and the atmosphere is delightful!"

We stayed here in late June 2024. It is in an Amazing location and walking distance to many places. Breakfast buffet for 10 euros was worth it. It is less than a half a mile walk to Praca de Comercio and the waterfront, closer than that to Rossio square, and conveniently located to many other restaurants and places.

This is a true 3 star or less property. 4 is a bit too much for the property. Tiny, noisy, slow elevator. Not so good breakfast, super low ceiling on the 5th floor are just some of the inconveniences. Only thing going for this is the location.

The location is perfect hotel is small and clean. Close to many restaurants and stores all walking distance also to 3 plaza. The staff members Julia an Bruno excellent good customer service. Very clean comfort beds. They just need to update the carpet on stairway and in the rooms. They also arrange our tours with private driver they were excellent. The rate of the tours reasonable since there was 4 of us. If you have chance take cooking class at "Compadre". Overall hotel was great 👍 they also have small elevator. I highly recommend the hotel.

Great location. The room was charming with amazing view. We get what we expected as we knew rooms are tight in Europe. We will definitely stay again. Only concern is the water pressure in the shower was not strong.

Excellent Location, Modern and comfortable

The Lift is in the middle of it all in Lisbon, in perhaps the most walkable area with endless shopping and eating establishments. While the area is well worn tourist trap you still benefit from quality; modern hotel design. If i could change one thing it would be to have a chair to sit on in the room but it was fine for one night and one person.

Very friendly staff who went out and bought gluten free bread so I could eat the breakfast. Very clean. Postage stamp sized room. We both tripped on the ripped carpet on the stairs and took the lift after that, but otherwise great.

Staff were friendly. Location is excellent with landmarks and transit close to hotel. The room we stayed in on the top floor might not be comfortable for tall people due to the way room is designed but it was clean and spacious for three people.
