The room is spacious and allowed plenty of natural light, even during our rainy stay. The check in went smoothly and the staff gave us an intro to various neighborhoods in town. The gym had barely anyone there, high end cardie equipment (I used the inclined treadmill), and clean towels.

Love the design, the interiors, gorgeous rain shower, huge selection of breakfast buffet, quick and late night room service, kind and helpful staff, the lovely view of the water, convenient train station directly below, the winding streets in the local neighbourhood, cute little bars and taverns. Didn't like the weak water pressure in the sink faucet. Not a fan of the thin bathroom door which provides no privacy for using a toilet if anyone else is around. You could never use this room with another person unless you were extremely intimate partners.

My husband really enjoyed the stay here. Staff were really friendly. For a very old building converted into a hotel it was great. Nearby were great restaurant choices. It is really convenient because from our stay we got on the train to Braga. So very convenient.

This hotel is located right in the train station. You have to go the water side outside to get to it or as you come out but still in main station left and on your left is a lobby waiting room with nice furniture, go thru to front desk behind the double doors. This place is right above the train statopmbut we heard nothing!!! It was quiet, cleam and the staff especially front desk and bell people, are all super nice. There is construction going on but we were able to walk to some neat places. Highly recommend. Also you can get hop on hop off ,- yellow bus, hop tickets at front desk. Front dEsk vEry helpful. They also held our luggage after check out so we were able to see sights o. Our last day. Super convenient

Hotel had a lovely historic ambience to it with accessories of yesteryear (nice touch). Anything less than full stars is really no fault of theirs, there's construction ongoing around the area. Also it's literally in the train station, so from a transit perspective it was perfect for us.
