Lovely new hotel in convenient location. There are new bars and dining room due to open next month- if done to the same standard then it will be fantastic. The bar/restaurant around the pool is lovely - the staff very polite and efficient. We had a studio room - additional seating/in room dining area wtih fridge, sink and washing machine ( we didnt use :) ). One observation - power to the room is key activated and when you leave the room the power switches off - including the fridge/freezer which renders them not particualy useful. Other than that - great hotel and happy to recommend

This property looks great but under the surface that’s all. The rooms are not practical, they are not cleaned during your stay. This is a one night hotel, I stayed for seven and it was a big mistake. My key card stopped working 5 days out of seven, three times on one day. No cleaning, lack of sun loungers, dishwasher didn’t work, they came to fix it, it worked once and the. Stopped!! Would never stay here again

The hotel is in a great location, close to one of the main Metro stations and main squares. It is a relatively easy 25 minute walk to the waterfront. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and friendly. The pool is a bit small but a welcome place to cool off and relax. The big plus point for me was the hotel staff. Every single one of them was incredibly friendly and helpful. The customer service could not have been better.

The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The hotel was close to a good selection of restaurants and a couple of good supermarkets are within a very short walk. Also has great transport links. Only negative was the city room had very little space for hanging clothes.

Had a great time staying at Locke Santa Joana. Overall rated 4/5 because there’s still opportunity for improvement. The best thing about this hotel is the aesthetic. However, we checked in and WiFi wasn’t working. My room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned out from previous guest, there was a dishwasher full of kitchenware that wasn’t put away. Bathroom shower would leak out and would wet the entire floor. Small flaws that I’m sure they will figure out but expected a bit more since this is an experienced chain hotel. Nevertheless, the hotel and amenities were really pretty!

The property was amazing, brand new so we loved it. The restaurant and coffee shop were ver good. On the other hand, We were surprised that the wait staff was encouraging us to leave tips, uncommon in Europe.
