Good and Bad

I was surprised when I arrived to find out the message I received from the hotel prior to arrival said check in was a 2pm, reception told me 4 pm. By 3 pm we had been awake for 24 hours and was finally able to go to our room which was a double bed for my 26 year old son and I, that was not ok so I went down and was given a 2 twin bed room, these beds were amazingly comfortable. Air Conditioning was less than adequate, the room stayed at 20 degrees, there was not any circulation of air. The fridge did not get cold. We drank warm contents, we went out all day on our second day, when we returned there were no fresh towels and all of the toilet paper was gone, there were no facecloths. The shower was great until I got out and the floor was flooded, the small barrier was not attached very well. The breakfast buffet was perfect. The front desk staff were wonderful, that it kind of made up for what was lacking in the room. Location was perfect fit for what we wanted to do.

Nice bew clean bare bones hotel

There is no airport shuttle available. There are no electric plugs anywhere in bathroom / sink area. No towel hooks or shelf or flat surface in shower area.Shower floor is extremely slippery.

Great hotel within walking distance to the Oriente train station. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and cheap. Would definitely stay again.

STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE.

30 minutes to check in. I got to the front of the line and the desk person fled her desk to go help another. Then waited an additional 10 min to check in. No please, no thank you’s, no thank you for your wait. Astonished that the desk was not trained for the service industry. Pass on this place. And pick any other hotel in the area. This review was earned.

How does this hotel get these high ratings?? It’s sooooo far from city centre it does t have any amenities the rooms are tiny and to top it off I tried to check out early to move elsewhere and they wouldn’t allow it. Because I booked through Expedia. It’s terrible don’t ever come here

Nog enough room to walk if you have a few suitcases. Expensive for what is offered. Far from downtown Lisbon. Not recommended.
